Trump vows to prosecute Democrats if elected, citing retaliation.
Former President Donald Trump Vows to Pursue Indictments Against Political Opponents
In a recent interview with The Blaze founder and conservative radio host Glenn Beck, former President Donald Trump made a bold statement. He declared that if he were to be elected president again, he would actively pursue investigations and indictments against President Joe Biden and other elected Democrats.
Trump, who himself has faced multiple indictments in the past, expressed his concerns about political prosecutions and the need for accountability. Beck questioned Trump about his previous campaign’s “lock her up” chants directed at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He asked if Trump regretted not following through on those promises and if he would take a similar approach in the future.
Trump’s response was unequivocal. He stated, “You’ll have no choice because they’re doing it to us.” He expressed his disappointment in President Biden and alleged that Biden was behind the efforts to indict him. Trump referred to his opponents as “sick” and “evil” individuals.

Currently, Trump is facing indictments in Florida, Georgia, New York, and Washington, D.C. The indictments in Georgia and New York were brought by local prosecutors who are elected Democrats. The ones in Florida and D.C. were filed by special counsel Jack Smith, appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland. These investigations revolve around allegations of mishandling classified documents and Trump’s alleged involvement in the U.S. Capitol riot.
Trump has vehemently denounced these indictments, labeling them as political prosecution and claiming they are meant to interfere with elections. It is worth noting that during the 2016 campaign, Trump had threatened Clinton with a federal investigation. However, after winning the presidency, he backed off from pursuing it.
