Three Homeless Men Hospitalized After Shooting in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, Calif.—In a shocking incident, three homeless men were shot by unknown assailants in Wilmington. The incident took place at North Banning Boulevard and G Street at 9:20 p.m. on Sept. 1. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Division quickly responded to the scene.
According to a police spokesman who spoke to City News Service, at least two men approached the victims and opened fire. The motive behind the attack and descriptions of the suspects remain unknown at this time.
The victims, who were identified as homeless individuals, were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, they are currently in stable condition and receiving medical care.
As of now, no motive or suspect descriptions have been released by the authorities. The investigation into this disturbing incident is ongoing.
