Pop star’s latest song ‘Demons’ backfires, leading thousands to turn to God.
Discovering the Hidden Gems of the Bible
There are many fascinating aspects of the Bible. One that is most overlooked, however, is the fact that “the Bible isn’t just a historical accounting but a road map for everything humanity will face in the future.”
It is designed to help us understand and navigate life successfully, given the ongoing war between good and evil. Even in today’s world, the circumstances may take different forms, but the essence of each of them can be found in the Bible. That is why this book holds immense value for people of all ages.
Doja Cat recently showcased this reality in her new song “Demons.” The release of the song sparked an enormous backlash among listeners, catching many by surprise. The outrage became so intense that Youtuber Ruslan KD felt compelled to address it.
I’d actually recommend you don’t waste your time watching the “Demons” video. Why drive up views when I can easily describe the atrocity to you in two words, “absolute garbage” of the most perverse kind. If you must partake, I’ve made the video available to you below.
WARNING: The following video contains vulgar language that some viewers may find offensive.
It is no wonder the gruesomeness of the lyrics coupled with the satanic images sent many clutching their bibles and fleeing back to church, so over the line did this vocalist step. As music is known to be a reflection of the times, this body of work seemed more a calculated attempt at locking us in a place of fear and downturn.
I can hardly call Doja Cat an artist, and neither can she, it seems. If she truly possessed any real talent, she would not have resorted to such a distasteful, immature, attention-seeking stunt. She is merely another pawn being exploited by the music industry for profit, perhaps to serve a larger agenda?
This time, however, it seems to have backfired on them, as it has triggered a return to Christ among many. It is not the first time that God has used evil for good.
Throughout history, God has shown that He is ultimately in control, taking the devil’s handiwork and using it to remind us of His existence. These moments often occur when humanity and society are at a tipping point. And can anyone argue that we aren’t there today?
We are undeniably at that tipping point, which is why it comes as no surprise that God has taken Doja Cat’s aggressive attempt to justify her own emptiness, poor judgment, and misguided notions and turned it into an opportunity for people to seek Him. If she truly felt powerful, she would not have fallen for the unsatisfying industry narrative that exploits the broken without truly nourishing them. This is why many mega-stars never find peace.
Just like in the story of Joseph in Genesis 50:15-20, where Joseph’s brothers were everything he was not, God can use the evil intentions of humans to bring about good. Joseph’s brothers threw him into a pit out of ego and greed, but God saved him and elevated him to a position of leadership, where he served as a vessel for God’s word.
Similarly, our present-day circumstances, exemplified by the Doja Cat debacle and the mass transition back to God and traditional values, remind us once again of how God can use evil intentions to bring about good.
The devil thought he had us all under his will, with society seemingly falling into his grasp, and those who served him reaping riches and rewards as his handmaidens. However, a simple look around at the pain and suffering caused by this “righteousness” reveals its true nature. Our society and world are in a terrible state, with lost traditions, virtues, and family values.
If Doja Cat had grown up with a father figure and a secure, stable home, her outcome might have been more favorable, regardless of her involvement in the music industry. But that is not the case, and her current persona does not even attempt to hide her satanic tendencies.
However, God is on the move. In His perfect way, He has allowed the devil to reach such heights that he is inadvertently leading people back to the truth, the light, and the way. As one listener responded to Doja Cat’s “Demons,” “Thanks Doja for making me wanna go to church every day.”
May we all hope that this trend continues without the need for future reminders. With more people reading the Bible, thanks to Doja Cat’s actions, the possibility of a greater return to God is stronger today than it was yesterday. In this regard, she has earned my applause, despite her God-awful music.
