Haley criticizes Biden and Trump: Both failed to improve North Korea’s direction.
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley criticizes Biden and Trump on North Korea
In a statement released Tuesday, Haley slammed Biden’s “weakness” and Trump’s “friendliness” to the North Korean communist regime, the Washington Examiner reported. Haley’s comments on U.S.-North Korea relations under Trump and Biden came as Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to discuss a possible deal to ship munitions from the Hermit Kingdom to Russia as its war with Ukraine drags past 18 months with no end in sight.
The North Korea-Russia meeting is another sign that the dictators of the world are united.
Biden has been too weak and Trump was too friendly, even praising Kim Jong Un.
Dictators only understand strength.

Haley’s criticism of Trump and Biden
“The Kim-Putin partnership is another sign that the dictators of the world are united,” Haley said in a statement Tuesday. “The tyrants who lead China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea hate America and our values. We must take their threats seriously. Neither Joe Biden’s weakness nor Donald Trump’s friendliness to Kim have changed North Korea’s direction for the better. These dictators only understand strength.”
Haley, who was appointed by former President Trump to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., has not been afraid to criticize her former boss on foreign policy issues. The former South Carolina governor has repeatedly hit Trump for his foreign policy record on China and disagreed with his proposal for addressing the Ukraine-Russia war.
Trump spokesman Steven Cheung defended the former president’s record in a statement to the Examiner, saying, “Under President Trump’s successful presidency, no new wars were started because everyone respected the power and leadership of America. Sadly, Joe Biden and many others want to further bloodshed and deaths.”
As president, Trump held a historic meeting with Kim in North Korea to discuss nuclear arms. Trump was criticized for appearing friendly with the dictator and calling him a “very talented man” who “loves his country very much” after the summit.
Biden has also faced criticism for his handling of the North Korean nuclear situation as the country has drastically increased its missile tests since Biden took office in January 2021.

Kim is reportedly set to meet with Putin in Vladivostok later this month. Putin aims to secure more weapons for its war in Ukraine, such as artillery shells and anti-tank missiles, while Kim wants access to Russia’s advanced technology on nuclear submarines and satellites, as well as food assistance for his starving country of roughly 26 million people, officials told The New York Times. Kim could also make other stops, including at the Vostochny Cosmodrome space launch center and even Moscow.
