New York City Mayor ‌Eric Adams‌ Warns ⁣of⁢ the Devastating Impact⁢ of the‌ Ongoing Migrant Crisis

“Never in my life have‌ I⁢ had‍ a problem that I did not see an ending to. I don’t⁣ see an ending ⁢to this,” ⁤Adams said at ⁢an Upper West Side ⁢town⁤ hall. “This issue will destroy New York City.”

Mayor​ Eric Adams ⁤of New York City expressed‍ his concerns about the ongoing migrant crisis, stating that it poses a significant threat to​ the city’s well-being. Adams revealed that the city⁢ is currently ⁢receiving a⁤ staggering influx of ​10,000 migrants every month from various parts of the⁢ world.

Adams, along with other New York City​ Democrats,​ has criticized⁣ the Biden administration for ‌its failure to provide adequate resources to⁢ manage the migrant crisis. In response, the Biden administration ⁢shifted blame onto city and state officials, accusing them of poor communication with migrants and‍ insufficient allocation ⁢of resources ‍for ⁣processing.

A recent poll indicated that a majority of New Yorkers, 82 percent to be precise, ⁤consider the migrant crisis a “serious” issue. Furthermore, 58 percent of respondents expressed a desire to ⁢halt the flow of migrants‌ from the southern border.

“The city ‌we knew,‌ we’re about to lose,” the mayor said, emphasizing the detrimental impact of ⁣the crisis on various city services due to the resulting deficit.
