Chris Christie’s super PAC highlights his ‘fighter’ record in debut NH radio ad.
Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s Super PAC Reminds New Hampshire Voters of His Conservative Record
Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s super PAC is making waves in New Hampshire with its first radio advertisement, titled “Stand Up.” This engaging 60-second ad aims to highlight Christie’s conservative record in his Democratic-controlled home state. It is part of a “five-figure” buy and will be aired across New Hampshire, a state critical to Christie’s official campaign, according to Tell It Like It Is PAC.
A Fighter for What We Believe In
“No one ever, ever has questioned whether I’m a fighter,” Christie proudly declares in the ad. “Whether I’m willing to stand up for the things we believe in.”
In the ad, Christie emphasizes the distinction between “fighting to get something done and fighting just for the sake of fighting.” He supports his arguments with examples from his tenure as governor, such as his battles with New Jersey’s teachers unions, his efforts to expand school choice, the introduction of spending caps, and the implementation of pension reforms. All of these accomplishments were achieved despite facing Democratic majorities in the state legislature.
“This is about having someone who knows how to use the levers of power and the bully pulpit to be able to get results,” Christie asserts. “I am the guy who can bring results. I’ve done it before in one of the bluest states in this country, and I will do it again when I am President of the United States.”
New Hampshire: A Key Focus for Christie
Christie is strategically concentrating his campaign’s resources in New Hampshire. The state’s more independent electorate is more receptive to the governor’s criticisms of former President Donald Trump, compared to the other early-voting states of Iowa and South Carolina.
“Tired of the drama, the distractions, the lies? It’s time for conservatives to win again,” proclaimed a Tell It Like It Is PAC television ad earlier this month, featuring Trump’s mug shot taken for his Jan. 6 racketeering trial in Fulton County, Georgia. This powerful message resonated with New Hampshire voters.
Despite being 36 points behind Trump in New Hampshire, Christie’s recent surge in polls shows him averaging 8% support in the state, according to RealClearPolitics. Nationally, he is averaging 3%, trailing Trump by 51 points.
With his Super PAC’s impactful radio and television ads, Christie aims to solidify his position as a strong conservative candidate who can deliver results.
