Oklahoma Education Official Calls for Firing of Drag Queen ​Elementary⁤ School Principal

In a shocking revelation, Oklahoma’s top education official has demanded the immediate termination⁢ of an elementary school principal who not only performs as‍ a drag queen but also has a history of child pornography charges. The controversy surrounds John Glenn Elementary School Principal Shane​ Murnan, who goes by the name “Shantel Mandalay” in drag.

Oklahoma State‌ Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters expressed his strong stance on the matter,​ stating that the Western ‍Heights School District should take swift action and fire Murnan. Walters,⁢ who campaigned against critical theory and gender ⁣theory ⁢in classrooms, emphasized the ‍need to remove individuals like Murnan ‍from positions of authority.

Walters voiced his concerns about the impact of such ⁢individuals on Oklahoma values, stating, “It’s outrageous to ⁢have a drag queen‍ running a school, you know, here in Oklahoma⁣ that doesn’t line up with Oklahoma values. I hear from parents‌ every day that are concerned with this woke left-wing indoctrination or schools, this⁣ gender theory that continues to be thrust upon our kids. It’s‍ completely inappropriate.”

Murnan’s involvement as a drag queen extends beyond⁢ the school setting. He has participated in story hours at the public library and has worked at an Oklahoma City gay bar called “The Boom,” ⁢as indicated by ‍his Facebook posts.

Walters believes that there is an underlying agenda ⁢behind the left’s push for such ideologies⁤ in schools. He stated, “I think that the Left has absolutely​ an agenda for our⁢ kids, that⁣ they are at war with our kids in the classroom. What they are doing‌ is injecting this ideology for an end ​goal here. Their end goal is to absolutely break down a child’s mind, break down the classroom, break down the family, and you see the results that have⁤ come from this. They want kids to turn on their parents and ‌only listen to their leftist ideology.”

Walters ⁤emphasized that​ parents do not want their children exposed to radical gender theory in any capacity.​ He called for an end to the “woke war” on kids, stating, “We will not allow our kids to be part of their radical-Left game for pushing ideology and furthering their end goal, which is⁣ creating social justice​ warriors instead of students that understand how education is a path for success for them.”

The child pornography charges against Murnan were dismissed in the early 2000s due to⁣ a lack of evidence.​ However, ‌court records indicate that Oklahoma investigators had ⁣obtained deleted child⁢ pornography images allegedly possessed by Murnan.

Despite the dismissal of​ the charges and⁣ the expungement of the record, the school ⁢has faced criticism for employing Murnan as the principal.
