Glenn Youngkin won’t rule out 2024 Primary bid.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin Keeps Door Open for 2024 Presidential Run

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has sparked⁣ speculation about ‌a potential entry into the 2024 Republican Party‍ presidential primary. When asked about⁣ the matter during an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Youngkin refused to definitively rule ⁤it out.

This development comes as influential Republican governors, such as Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and ⁢New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, have expressed their belief that the current field of candidates is sufficient for the⁢ ongoing race.

Reports have emerged suggesting that Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News,‌ has personally encouraged ⁤Youngkin to run. The Wall Street Journal, also owned by Murdoch, published an article suggesting that a successful outcome ⁢in⁤ the Virginia state elections⁤ this November could pave the way for Youngkin’s late entry ‍into the presidential race.

During the interview, Shannon Bream pressed Youngkin on‌ his intentions for 2024. In response, Youngkin ⁣emphasized his focus on the upcoming 2023 election in Virginia, which he considers crucial for demonstrating ⁤the positive impact of common sense conservative policies.

Bream challenged Youngkin, suggesting that his⁣ accomplishments in the state could translate into⁤ a presidential campaign. Youngkin, however, reiterated his commitment⁤ to campaigning in Virginia for Virginians, rather than⁤ engaging in ⁢national pursuits.

While Youngkin did not ⁤explicitly declare his candidacy for⁣ 2024, Bream hinted that the door may⁣ still be slightly ajar for a potential run.
