Suspect Sought in Fatal Gang-Related Shooting at Santa Ana Gas Station
In a tragic incident on September 10, a man was shot and killed at a Santa Ana gas station in what appears to be a gang-related attack. The Santa Ana Police Department is currently on the lookout for two suspects involved in the crime.
The victim, Angel Fregoso, 31, from Santa Ana, was shot while he and a female acquaintance were preparing to leave the Mobil station located at 1465 S. Main St. According to Officer Natalie Garcia, a spokesperson for the Santa Ana Police, officers received a shots-fired call at 2:50 a.m. on Sunday.
As Mr. Fregoso and the woman were about to drive away, they were approached by a gunman accompanied by another suspect. The assailants inquired about their gang affiliation before opening fire, leaving Mr. Fregoso with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
