The hearing, set to⁤ be held⁣ by The House Oversight ⁢Committee on Thursday, September 28th, will delve⁢ into the “constitutional and legal questions surrounding the President’s involvement in corruption and abuse of public office,” according to Jessica Collins, spokesperson for the‌ committee.

The focus of the hearing will be on the “constitutional and legal questions surrounding⁢ the President’s involvement in corruption and abuse of public office,” ⁣said Jessica Collins, spokesperson for the committee.

In addition, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) and his panel plan to request the bank records of both Hunter Biden and James ⁢Biden this⁢ week.

These records are related to their⁢ international business dealings, ⁣which have ⁢become a central point of the⁤ impeachment inquiry initiated by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) just last week.

The purpose of the subpoenas is to determine whether President Biden received money from countries like China ⁣and Ukraine. This could potentially⁤ lead to a lengthy legal ⁤battle over Congress’ right to access⁤ this information.

“The Oversight Committee will continue to follow the evidence and ‌money trail to provide the transparency and accountability that Americans demand from their government,” Collins said.

House Republicans argue that President Biden financially benefited from his son, Hunter Biden, ⁤in relation⁢ to his international business ⁣dealings.

While investigators have discovered that Hunter Biden and his associates made millions from their overseas affairs, they have yet to find ⁤concrete evidence proving that the president personally benefited from those dealings.

What is the purpose of the first hearing scheduled by House Republicans regarding President Joe Biden’s alleged corruption and abuse of power?

House Republicans are now taking action in their impeachment inquiry against President⁣ Joe Biden. They have scheduled the first hearing to investigate his alleged corruption and abuse of⁣ power. The hearing, to be held by The House Oversight Committee⁢ on Thursday, September 28th, aims to explore the “constitutional and legal questions surrounding the President’s‌ involvement in corruption and⁣ abuse of public⁣ office,” according to Jessica Collins, spokesperson for the committee.

This move comes as ⁣Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) and ‍his panel plan to request‍ the bank records of both Hunter Biden and James Biden this week. ‌These records⁢ are related to their international business dealings, which‍ have become a focal point of the impeachment inquiry initiated by ⁣House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) just last week.

The purpose⁢ of these⁢ subpoenas is ‍to determine⁣ whether President Biden ‌received money from countries like China and Ukraine. This could potentially lead to a lengthy legal battle over Congress’ right to access this information.

“The Oversight⁢ Committee ‌will ⁢continue to follow the evidence⁢ and money trail to provide the transparency and accountability that Americans demand from their government,” Collins said.

House Republicans argue that President Biden financially benefited from his son, Hunter Biden, ‌in relation to his international business dealings. While investigators have discovered ⁣that Hunter Biden and his associates made millions from their overseas affairs, the specific connection⁣ to President Biden and any ‌potential ⁢wrongdoing is ⁤yet to ⁣be determined.

It is important⁢ to note that an impeachment⁣ inquiry‌ does not directly result in the removal of a sitting president.‌ It is a formal investigation that can lead‌ to articles of impeachment being drafted and voted on in the House‍ of Representatives. If a majority ‌vote in favor of impeachment is achieved, it then moves to the Senate for a trial. A two-thirds majority is required in the Senate for a president to‍ be removed from office.

This upcoming hearing will likely attract significant attention, as it marks a‌ significant⁢ development in the ongoing political landscape. It remains to be seen what evidence will be presented and how it will impact the impeachment inquiry against President Biden.
