Ukraine plans to divide Russia’s Crimea fleet like a salami.

Ukrainian Official Warns Russia: “Your Naval ⁢Forces in Crimea ⁤Will Be Sliced Up Like a Salami”

Ukrainian‍ National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov‌ issued a strong ‌warning to Russia’s naval forces in Crimea ⁢after a recent⁣ attack on the‍ Russian‌ fleet headquarters.

“The Russian Black Sea fleet will be sliced up like ‍a salami,” Danilov wrote on social media. “The‌ process is painful, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine‍ conduct precision strikes exclusively on military infrastructure.”

Russian authorities have cordoned off the area around ⁣the fleet headquarters, ‍as videos on social‍ media‌ show smoke rising from the building. This attack comes after a claimed Ukrainian‌ strike on a Russian air ⁤base in Crimea.

“There are two options ⁢for the future‍ of Russia’s Black Sea fleet: ⁤voluntary or ⁢forced self-neutralization,” Danilov added.

The bombardment coincided with reports of a cyberattack on Crimea, ‍causing internet outages on the peninsula.

The aerial⁢ strike ‍was carried out using long-range Storm ⁢Shadow missiles provided by the United Kingdom and France, according to⁣ Ukrainian officials.

President⁣ Joe Biden has not yet provided U.S.-made long-range missiles to⁤ Ukraine ‍but has not ‍ruled it out in the future. ‌Ukrainian⁢ forces, however, plan to continue ⁣targeting Russian positions in Crimea.

“The best and safest way to preserve the integrity of the ‍property-economic complex of the city of Akhtiar (old name — Sevastopol) and the surrounding areas is voluntary‍ shipwreck,” Danilov ⁤stated. “The famous Russian military reflection — the destruction of own fleet when the⁣ enemy approaches —⁢ should have time continuity and tradition of succession.”
