Liability fears force providers to abandon ‘Gender-Affirming Care’ for kids, despite legality.

Conservatives and Detransitioners Find an Unexpected Ally ⁣in ⁢the Fight Against Transgenderism for Kids

Conservatives who strongly oppose “gender-affirming care” for minors are making strides in limiting or even banning procedures that they believe⁢ harm children. And ‍now, they have an unexpected ally ‌that could potentially bring an end to transgenderism for kids much faster than state legislators.

Currently, 22‌ GOP-led states have ⁢implemented restrictions and bans to prevent doctors and hospitals from⁣ administering puberty blockers and irreversible surgical procedures to children with gender dysphoria. Meanwhile, Democrats are ⁢pushing to expand such “care.”

Conservatives argue that transitioning⁣ a child⁣ before they reach‌ the age of consent is not only⁢ child ‍abuse but also a‍ violation of a doctor’s oath to “do no harm.” As a result, lawmakers are taking action to prohibit or limit these procedures. ⁢Interestingly, even‌ many European countries are moving in the same direction.

While ‍Europe is becoming more cautious about ‍transgendering children, Democrats in the U.S. continue to support transitioning younger and younger children⁢ without adequately addressing the underlying mental health issues. However, these liberals are starting to realize‌ that they face an unexpected opponent in their battle: lawsuits.

Insurance‌ companies and hospital administrators have recently stopped covering transgender “care” in certain states, shocking liberals.⁢ This change‌ is a response to laws in those states ⁣that offer less coverage for legal liability, making it easier for patients to sue doctors and hospitals for pushing transgender procedures on children who are not ⁤of legal age to consent.

As a ‌result, hospitals and insurance companies are ⁤dropping support for these procedures, even in states⁣ where they are still legal. The threat of⁢ lawsuits is causing them⁣ to reconsider their stance, as they face the⁤ possibility of⁤ losing their licenses or paying significant penalties, settlements, and‌ judgments.

With malpractice suits piling up and medical ‌professionals in Europe realizing that “gender-affirming care” does not effectively address the mental anguish experienced by many transgender teens, insurance‌ companies and hospitals are becoming more hesitant to offer these destructive and dangerous treatments.

While political persuasion may not be enough to sway medical professionals from their transgender path,⁣ the fear of legal consequences is proving to be a more immediate deterrent. This growing trend of lawsuits may ultimately lead to the ⁤end of these harmful practices.

What if you woke up one morning and half of the people you count on had just vanished overnight?

That happened to me recently. I got up, came to work here at The Western Journal, and⁢ when I got⁤ to my office, literally half of our readers had vanished. They were just gone. We had been nuked‍ by⁢ Facebook, and it⁤ had happened almost instantly.

But it was even worse.‍ Facebook hit us at the same time 90% of advertisers had essentially⁣ boycotted us. “Brutal” is a word I’ve used a lot lately.

The fight for the truth is⁢ brutal. ‍The fight for America’s ⁣soul is brutal. What the government is doing to January 6 detainees is brutal. What surgeons are doing ‌to confused children is brutal.

It’s a fight we must ⁢win. But we can’t win without you.

A subscription to The Western Journal will go much farther⁣ than you think. It costs less than a cup of Starbucks coffee, and for that small price you get access to ALL of our content – news, commentary, and premium ‍articles – you’ll experience a radically reduced number of ads,⁤ and most importantly you will be vitally supporting the fight against leftism.

Can I count on you to subscribe today? We need your help. Benjamin Franklin summed up the situation we’re all facing when he said “We must all hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.”

How are insurance companies and hospitals responding to concerns about the harmful‌ effects of “gender-affirming care” for minors?

To describe it, and it’s an understatement. Social media giants like Facebook and Twitter have immense power over the flow of information and the ability to silence voices they ‌disagree with. This ‌is a dangerous threat to free speech ⁣and the open exchange of ideas.

At The Western Journal, we believe in‍ the power‌ of independent journalism. We strive to bring you the truth, even when it goes against the mainstream ⁣narrative. We ‌refuse to be silenced and will continue to provide a platform for diverse perspectives and critical thinking.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your support. If you value free speech and independent journalism, please consider making a donation to The Western Journal‌ today. Every ⁤dollar you contribute ⁣goes towards sustaining our mission of exposing the truth and defending liberty.

The fight against the medicalization‌ of gender dysphoria in children⁢ has gained an unlikely ally – lawsuits. As conservatives and ‌detransitioners continue to raise concerns ⁤about the harmful effects of “gender-affirming care” for minors, ⁢insurance companies and hospitals are starting to reconsider their support for these procedures due to ⁢the fear‌ of legal consequences.

Conservatives‍ argue that transitioning a child before they reach the age of consent ‍is not only child abuse but ‍also a violation of medical ethics. Lawmakers have ⁤responded ‌to these concerns by implementing restrictions and bans on puberty blockers and irreversible surgical procedures for minors. This movement‍ is not limited to the United States, as many European countries are also‌ moving in the same direction.

Democrats, on the other hand, ‌have been pushing for the expansion of “gender-affirming care” for children, even without addressing the underlying mental health issues.⁢ However, they are now facing unexpected opposition in the form of‍ lawsuits. Insurance ‍companies and hospital administrators have decided to stop covering transgender procedures in certain ⁣states, in response to laws that offer less legal⁢ liability coverage. This makes⁣ it easier for patients to sue doctors and hospitals‍ for⁤ pushing‍ these procedures on children who are ‍not of legal age to consent.

The threat of lawsuits is causing hospitals and insurance companies to rethink their stance on these procedures, even in states where they are still legal.⁤ The potential loss of licenses⁣ and significant financial penalties have made them more hesitant to offer‌ these treatments. This is a significant development, as it shows that the fear of legal consequences can ‌be a stronger deterrent than political persuasion.

There is growing evidence that “gender-affirming care” does not effectively‍ address the mental⁤ anguish experienced by many transgender teens. Medical professionals, both in the United States and Europe, are realizing the limitations of these treatments. Combined with the increasing number of malpractice suits, insurance companies and hospitals are becoming more cautious about offering these procedures.

While‍ conservatives and detransitioners ⁣have long been vocal about their opposition to “gender-affirming care” for minors, the unexpected alliance with lawsuits may be the final blow to ⁣these harmful practices. The fear of legal ⁢consequences ⁣is ‌forcing hospitals and insurance companies to⁤ rethink their ⁢support for ⁣procedures that ⁤have raised serious⁢ concerns about the well-being of children. This development gives hope to those who believe in a more cautious and thoughtful approach‍ to treating gender dysphoria in minors.

In conclusion, conservatives and detransitioners have found an unexpected ally in the fight against “gender-affirming care” for kids – lawsuits. This⁢ new development has caused hospitals⁤ and insurance companies to reconsider their ⁣support for these procedures, ⁤as the fear of legal ‌consequences outweighs political persuasion. The potential end⁤ of these harmful practices is on the horizon, thanks to the growing recognition of their limitations and the mounting number of malpractice suits.
