The governor then went on to describe the highly visible responsibilities of the country, saying “America should be leading the nation and the world in so many aspects, and we have to project strength on the global stage. We have to give comfort that we in fact have things under control in our economy.”
“There are unbelievably challenging issues that need to be solved,”
he added. “They’re complicated. They require complicated solutions, and I think when you have a president that doesn’t project the ability to actually do all of that, it really weakens America.”
