Israeli village near Gaza miraculously untouched by Hamas terror rampage.

‘The Hand of God’: Israeli Village ⁢Near Gaza Somehow Emerged from⁣ Hamas Terror Rampage Completely Unscathed

Amidst⁢ the waves of death-dealing Hamas terrorists flooding ⁣through⁤ southern Israel on Saturday, one small Israeli kibbutz stood strong and unscathed.

Kibbutz Urim, home to 210 people, miraculously escaped the carnage that engulfed the region. While nearby Kibbutz Be’eri suffered losses and had one person taken hostage, not‍ a single resident ⁣of Urim lost ‍their life.

“It’s really a miracle … It really feels like the ‍hand of God was covering our kibbutz,” U.S.-born Yehudit Pelish, 59, told⁤ Fox News.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ‍described⁤ the day as the most horrific‌ for the⁣ Jewish people since the Holocaust, with over 1,300 Israelis slaughtered, according to the Times‌ of Israel.

Kibbutz⁢ Urim is located near Be’eri, which became a ‍symbol of the massacre after ‌losing 100 of its 1,000 residents. Maj. Doron Spielman of the Israel Defense Forces compared⁢ the level of inhumanity displayed by Hamas fighters to ‍that of Auschwitz, stating, “The ‌world needs to witness this⁣ firsthand.”

However, in the face of fear, the residents of Urim survived.

“We had ‍a few close calls,” Pelish said. “A number of⁢ terrorists were killed on the road leading to our kibbutz, and four ⁤more were captured right outside our back gate. We just got lucky.”

Sophie Stillman, a Minnesota⁣ expatriate ⁤who had returned to Israel for a visit, shared her experience of the ⁤terrifying ordeal.⁣ She described crouching in the living room and seeking refuge in an above-ground shelter ⁤as rockets continued‌ to ⁤rain down. Eventually, she and others sought safety in⁢ an ⁤underground shelter.

As the horror unfolded outside, Stillman realized the one-sided nature of the violence. She even contemplated writing a farewell message to her family in ⁤America, fearing for her life.

“For the first time ⁣in my life, I started writing a farewell⁣ message to my family [in America]. In a situation like that, you start thinking about what you need to do ⁣if something happens to you … It was psychological warfare, and what happened is totally incomprehensible,” she said, adding, “The terrorists ⁢literally skipped over us, they went to Kibbutz Re’im, they went to⁤ Ofakim, it’s a complete miracle they missed us out.”

Witnessing the devastation in neighboring communities, Pelish expressed her heartbreak and concern for their recovery.

The story of Kibbutz Urim serves as a testament to the resilience and the inexplicable‍ protection ⁢that some believe was the work of‍ a higher power.

A Note from ‌Our ⁢Deputy Managing Editor:

What if you woke up‍ one morning and half⁢ of the people you count on had just‍ vanished overnight?

That ‍happened to me recently. I ⁣got up, ⁤came to work here at The⁢ Western ⁣Journal,⁢ and when⁤ I got to my‍ office, literally half of ⁢our ‍readers had vanished. They were just gone. We had been nuked by Facebook, and ⁣it had happened almost instantly.

But it was even worse. Facebook hit ‌us at the same⁤ time 90 percent of advertisers had essentially boycotted us. “Brutal” ‌is a word⁢ I’ve used ‍a lot lately.

The fight for the truth is brutal. The fight for‌ America’s soul is brutal. What‌ the government is doing to Jan.⁢ 6 detainees is brutal. What surgeons are doing to confused children‌ is brutal.

It’s a fight‍ we must‍ win. But we can’t win without ‌you.

A subscription to⁤ The Western Journal will go much farther than⁤ you think. It costs less than ‍a cup⁤ of Starbucks coffee, and for that small price you‍ get access to ALL of our content news, commentary, and premium articles you’ll experience a radically⁤ reduced number of ads, and most importantly‌ you will be vitally supporting the fight against leftism.

Can I count on you to subscribe today? We need your⁢ help. Benjamin Franklin summed up‍ the situation we’re all facing when he⁤ said, “We must all hang together, or, most ‌assuredly, we shall all hang separately.”
