With the ongoing workers strike, Kaiser Permanente has finally come to a tentative deal with the coalition of unions that represent over 75,000 employees.
“The frontline healthcare workers of the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions are excited to have reached a tentative agreement with Kaiser Permanente,” the union coalition said on X. “We are thankful for the instrumental support of Acting US Labor Secretary Julie Su.”
With the tentative agreement, it marks the end of the largest-ever healthcare strike in United States history.
Meanwhile, the strike only lasted three days last week, which was the scheduled duration.
However, the coalition of unions threatened an eight-day strike in November, with more workers walking out if a new deal was not reached by October 31st.
