Poll: Majority of Americans Believe Biden’s Involvement in Family Business is ‘Illegal’ or ‘Unethical’

Most ⁣Americans Believe Biden’s Involvement in ⁢Son’s Business Deals Was Unethical or Illegal

According to a recent poll conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for⁣ Public Affairs Research, a majority⁤ of U.S. adults believe ⁣that President Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s shady foreign business deals was ⁣at least unscrupulous and may ‌have even crossed into criminal⁤ territory.

Out of the 1,163 adults surveyed, 68 percent expressed their belief that Biden’s role as the‍ “brand” in his family’s pay-to-play overseas money-making scheme was unethical or illegal.

The poll results come just one ⁤month after AP-NORC declared that Americans⁢ were divided over whether Biden acted wrongly in his son’s ⁣businesses. However, the latest poll shows that most Americans now understand that ‌Biden did participate in the influence-peddling ‍scheme that enriched his family‌ by millions, despite‌ his repeated denials of having knowledge of his son’s foreign business dealings.

Republicans surveyed were more likely⁢ to declare Biden guilty, with 96 percent believing that the funds received by the Biden family from oligarchs in⁢ nearly two dozen foreign countries, including China, were ⁤likely dirty or criminal. Even 40 percent of ‌Democrats agreed that the president’s involvement in the deals and subsequent diluted payments was suspect if not illicit.

AP-NORC tried to downplay its findings by noting that only 33‌ percent of U.S. ⁣adults approved ‍of House⁢ Republicans’ impeachment inquiry into Biden. However, they conveniently‍ ignored the fact that 26 percent of those surveyed neither approved nor disapproved of the impeachment.

Furthermore, AP-NORC compared the suspicion levels towards Biden with those towards ⁣former⁤ President Donald Trump’s infamous phone call to Ukraine in 2019. The difference‍ lies‌ in the⁣ abundance of evidence implicating Biden⁢ in exchanging political‍ favors ⁢for personal gain, while there was no evidence of Trump engaging in⁣ such behavior with a corrupt foreign government.

While the call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky showed no “quid pro quo,” evidence of the Bidens‍ leveraging Joe’s vice presidential⁣ power for ⁤multimillion-dollar deals, including a possible bribery scheme with ‍a Ukrainian energy⁣ firm, has ‍been corroborated by IRS whistleblowers, Biden business associates, banks, the FBI, and even Biden himself.

How should President Biden address allegations of corruption and ethical misconduct in ⁣order to restore public faith in his administration

Hina and Ukraine, were obtained⁤ through unethical or illegal means. On the other hand, only 37 percent of⁢ Democrats thought that Biden’s involvement was questionable.

The findings of this ⁣poll have ⁢significant implications for Biden’s presidency and public perception of his integrity. It is concerning that a majority of Americans view the president’s actions in a negative light, particularly when it comes to allegations of corruption and ⁣ethical misconduct.

Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has been embroiled⁤ in numerous controversies surrounding his ⁢business dealings, especially with foreign entities.⁢ The most prominent of these controversies is the infamous event where Hunter Biden was hired by a Ukrainian energy company, Burisma Holdings, despite having no prior experience in⁢ the energy sector. Critics argue that Hunter Biden’s position on the board of Burisma was solely‌ due to his⁤ father’s political influence as the vice president at the time.

The poll results indicate that the American public is ‌increasingly aware of these allegations and the potential implications they have on the credibility⁤ of ⁣the Biden⁤ administration. With a significant portion of Republicans believing in Biden’s wrongdoing, it is⁤ likely that these allegations will continue to be ⁢a focal point of political debates and discussions.

However, it is important to note that this poll represents only‍ a fraction of the American population, and the results should be interpreted with caution. Public opinion can fluctuate, and it is necessary to consider a⁢ diverse range of perspectives when evaluating the⁣ overall sentiment towards any political figure.

Nonetheless, the‌ findings of this poll underscore the importance of transparency and accountability in government. The American people have ⁤a right to know about any potential conflicts of interest or ethical lapses involving ‌their elected officials. The Biden administration must address ‌these concerns head-on by providing clear explanations and evidence to dispel any doubts or suspicions.

Ultimately, the perception of ethical ‍conduct and trustworthiness is crucial for ⁣any leader, and President Biden must take proactive steps to restore public faith in his administration. It is in the best interest of the American people, and democracy as a whole,‌ to have full ‌confidence‍ in their elected officials.
