But⁢ what happens when criminals are infected by a leftist mental disorder that distorts ​their perception of ⁤reality? Well, you ⁤get some really​ dumb criminals who make the cop’s job a little easier.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Florida recently shared a news release that described one of those moments where a criminal, thinking‌ he could manipulate reality with words, essentially​ turned himself in.

“One of the ⁣worst things⁤ about being a cop is you always have to be ‌open‍ to the‌ possibility that people are going to lie to you. No matter how sweet and innocent they seem.”

This time, the liar⁣ wasn’t sweet or innocent at all.

The ⁤deputies were on the hunt for Johnny Yates, a wanted ‍criminal, when ​they ​arrived at a residence in Lakeland. To their surprise, they were greeted by a dry-erase whiteboard in the window with the words, “Johnny Yates ⁣does NOT live here!!” written on it.

Gee…a dry-erase ​board​ never lied ​to ⁣us before — should we believe it?

Clearly, Yates believed that the sheriffs would fall for his feeble attempt at deception. But he was sorely mistaken.

Thanks ⁢to a ‌tip from‌ someone leaving the house, the deputies discovered that ⁣Yates was indeed inside. After using a⁤ loudspeaker to evacuate the remaining occupants, ‍they decided to smoke ⁣Yates out. The “surrender smoke” forced several people outside, some of whom were arrested.⁤ However, Yates managed to ‍evade capture.

It wasn’t until the sheriff deputies brought in a⁤ K9 unit that Yates was⁢ finally⁣ found hiding in a modified chest of drawers. Case⁣ closed.

So, was Yates just incredibly stupid, or had ‍he been influenced by the establishment media’s‌ ability to manipulate truth? Perhaps he thought, “If they can ​make millions believe ‌their⁤ lies, why can’t I?”

Or⁣ maybe Yates had been taught that truth is subjective, and⁢ therefore, he could create his ⁢own ‌reality. Regardless, Yates, whether naturally unintelligent or conditioned by⁢ leftist society, found himself reveling⁤ in his⁢ own stupidity.

As Forrest‍ Gump ‍once said, “Stupid is as stupid does.”
