Where is SBA Pro-Life in opposing Biden Pentagon’s extreme abortion support?
SBA Pro-Life America’s Silence on Senator Tuberville’s Fight Against Taxpayer-Funded Abortion
SBA Pro-Life America is known for leading the charge against Democrats’ extreme abortion agenda. However, when it comes to Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville’s battle against taxpayer-funded abortion in the Pentagon, the group has been surprisingly quiet.
Now, with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer threatening to bypass Tuberville’s hold on military promotions, Tuberville needs the support of pro-life organizations more than ever.
“Patience is wearing thin with Senator Tuberville on both sides of the aisle,” Schumer said in floor remarks on Wednesday. “What happened with the Marine Commandant just showed many people how dangerous what Tuberville is doing is. And so I will call for a resolution on the floor to allow us to vote on all these people at once. And I’m very hopeful and optimistic about it.”
In a statement to The Federalist, SBA’s VP of Communications E.V. Osment condemned the Biden administration for “illegally injecting abortion into our military against the will of the American people” and acknowledged Schumer’s power to bypass Tuberville’s hold.
However, SBA did not disclose whether they plan to score the Schumer-led vote or explain why they haven’t consistently supported Tuberville’s pro-life stance.
When Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced in February that the Pentagon would provide paid time off and travel for abortions, Tuberville placed a hold on the Senate confirmation of all civilian and general flag officer nominees.
He forced the Biden administration and its Democrat allies to choose between abandoning their radical abortion agenda or granting individual congressional approval to Austin’s subordinates.
Since Tuberville took this stand, he has faced attacks from Democrats, corporate media, former intelligence officials, high-ranking military members, and even Senate GOP leadership. They accuse him of impairing “military readiness,” despite the fact that the Senate Armed Services Committee can vote on each nomination individually.
Despite SBA’s favorable ranking of Tuberville and his pro-life track record, their support for him and his fight against the Pentagon is limited.
In May, SBA featured a video of Stephanie Smith from the Alabama Policy Institute thanking Tuberville for standing up against taxpayer-funded abortions.
It wasn’t until September that SBA explicitly expressed support for Tuberville’s actions.
“Sen. Tuberville is a heroic example of how pro-life members of Congress should stand for the protection of unborn children and their mothers and the rule of law,” said SBA President Marjorie Dannenfelser. ”We are proud to stand with him as he works to rein in Biden’s extremism and save innocent lives.”
SBA’s delayed response to Tuberville’s fight contrasts with their quick support for other Senate Republicans who have criticized Tuberville in recent months.
When Senator Lindsey Graham proposed a national 15-week abortion ban bill, SBA praised him for his efforts. However, Graham has accused Tuberville of “doing great damage to our military” with his abortion protest.

What impact would the public support of SBA Pro-Life America have on Tuberville’s fight against taxpayer-funded abortion?
Significant amount of backlash from Democrats and some Republicans who see his hold as detrimental to military operations and readiness. However, Tuberville remains firm in his belief that taxpayer dollars should not be used to fund abortions, especially within the military.
With the Senate at a stalemate and Schumer threatening to bypass Tuberville’s hold, pro-life organizations like SBA Pro-Life America have the opportunity to stand behind Tuberville and show their support for his fight against taxpayer-funded abortion.
It is concerning that SBA has been silent on this crucial issue. As a leading pro-life organization, their voice and action are needed now more than ever. Tuberville is taking a bold stance against the Biden administration’s agenda, and he needs the support of organizations like SBA to make a significant impact.
By not publicly supporting Tuberville, SBA Pro-Life America is missing a chance to strengthen the pro-life movement and advocate for the protection of unborn lives. Their silence raises questions about their commitment to the cause and their willingness to stand up for the pro-life values they claim to uphold.
Additionally, SBA’s lack of consistent support for Tuberville’s pro-life stance is puzzling. If they truly believe in their mission to defend the unborn and fight against abortion, why have they not consistently backed Tuberville in his battle against taxpayer-funded abortion in the military? This inconsistency sends a mixed message about their priorities and dedication to the cause.
Now is the time for SBA Pro-Life America to break their silence and publicly declare their support for Senator Tuberville’s fight against taxpayer-funded abortion. They have the platform and resources to make a significant impact and help shape the pro-life narrative in the political arena.
By standing with Tuberville, SBA Pro-Life America can send a strong message to both Republicans and Democrats that the fight against taxpayer-funded abortion is a non-negotiable issue for the pro-life movement. They can show their commitment to the cause and demonstrate their willingness to hold politicians accountable for their stances on abortion.
It is crucial that SBA Pro-Life America does not let this opportunity pass by. Their silence on Tuberville’s fight against taxpayer-funded abortion in the military is a disservice to their mission and to the millions of unborn lives at stake. Now is the time to speak up, take action, and show their unwavering support for Senator Tuberville and his pro-life stance.
The pro-life movement needs strong and vocal organizations like SBA Pro-Life America to lead the charge against the extreme abortion agenda of the Biden administration. It is time for SBA to break their silence and stand up for what they believe in. The future of unborn lives and the fight against taxpayer-funded abortion depend on it.
