A U.S. military supply ship faced an unexpected obstacle at the Port of Oakland on Friday. Pro-Palestine protesters, determined to bring attention to the Israeli-Hamas conflict⁤ in Gaza, tied themselves to the vessel, preventing it from departing.

According to protest organizations, the ship was loaded in Tacoma, Washington, with military hardware and weapons destined for Israel.

The Arab Resource Organizing Center, based in⁤ San ⁢Francisco, reportedly coordinated ⁣the ‍demonstration.

“It’s crucial for⁢ all taxpayers to demand ⁤more and put an end to U.S. aid to Israel as long as the violence⁢ persists,” emphasized Lara Kiswani, the organizer and executive‌ director of the Arab ‍Resource and Organizing Center.
