BLM’s Support for Hamas Echoed in Cullors’ Memoir

BLM’s Support for Hamas: A⁢ Chilling ‍Prophecy in Patrisse Khan-Cullors’ Memoir

Walking past the bustling open-air bookseller on the corner of 68th and Columbus, ‍a book caught my eye. Its vibrant colors and‍ captivating cover stood out among the sea of forgotten tomes. It was “when they call you a terrorist — a black lives matter memoir” by Patrisse Khan-Cullors and Asha Bandele, with a foreword by Angela Davis.

Curiosity piqued, I shared the book with a friend. We both felt a‍ sense‌ of ⁢urgency. “In light⁤ of recent events,” ⁤he said, “it⁤ might be time to bring that one back.”

In a 2018 interview with NBC News, Khan-Cullors expressed ⁣her initial confusion when Black Lives Matter was⁤ labeled a terrorist organization. She emphasized their‌ call for peace, justice, and dignity.

Flipping through the pages, memories of the tumultuous year 2020 flooded my mind. The death of George Floyd ignited a nationwide tinderbox, with BLM igniting the flames. Looters pillaged stores, small businesses were destroyed, and ‌innocent lives were lost.

Instead of condemning these ⁣riots, ‌there was celebration and ‍self-flagellation among young liberals. Social ‍media ‍was flooded with black squares ‌and reading lists, many promoting Khan-Cullors’ book, urging others to educate themselves.

Fortune ⁣500 companies and educational institutions swiftly voiced their support for the movement. Politicians, including the Vice President, endorsed bail funds for protesters. Critical ⁤Race Theory and anti-Western sentiment infiltrated our daily lives, dividing communities.

As tensions simmered, a ⁤horrifying event unfolded on October 7th. Hamas terrorists flooded the Israeli border, ⁤leaving⁤ a trail of death⁤ and destruction. Shocking videos emerged, depicting unspeakable acts of violence against innocent civilians.

Instead of condemnation, there was ⁤celebration and justification ⁢for Hamas. Anti-Semitic incidents surged, and pro-Palestinian protests erupted worldwide.⁤ Even college groups, previously supportive of ‍BLM,⁢ issued pro-Palestinian ⁣statements.

Black ⁢Lives Matter Grassroots stood in solidarity with Palestinians, drawing parallels between their struggles and those of black people. Prominent figures like Ibram X. Kendi joined the chorus, demanding an end to the violence.

For many who had shown‍ support after George Floyd’s death, this was a nauseating betrayal. The true consequences of critical race theory and progressive identity politics were laid bare.

Israel, falsely⁢ labeled as a white, western colonizer, became the target of hatred. The distinction between Zionism, self-determination, and colonialism blurred. The oppressed became the oppressors,⁢ acting with impunity.

Patrisse Khan-Cullors herself‍ had ‍foreseen this, likening Palestine to South‌ Africa and calling for the destruction of Israel. The book’s title took on a chilling‍ significance.

With a ‌heavy heart, I closed the book⁤ and returned it to the table. When they‌ call you a terrorist, Patrisse, they just might be right.

What steps can supporters of the ⁤Black Lives Matter movement take to address the dangerous⁤ alliances being formed and ensure that⁤ the movement stays true to its core values of justice and equality

Luding several prominent Democrats, kneeled in solidarity with BLM and pledged their allegiance to the cause. The movement seemed unstoppable, its influence stretching far and wide.

Yet, hidden within the pages of Khan-Cullors’ memoir lies‍ a⁤ chilling prophecy that should send shivers ‍down the spines⁢ of all who believe in freedom and justice. It is here that she reveals her support for Hamas, the⁤ terrorist organization ⁤responsible for the deaths of countless⁢ innocent Israeli civilians.

In one particular passage, Khan-Cullors⁢ writes of her admiration for the Palestinian people and their ⁣struggle for liberation. She sympathizes with⁢ their cause and makes no attempt to hide her support for Hamas. This revelation⁤ is deeply troubling, as Hamas is not merely a political organization fighting for Palestinian rights, but a group that openly advocates for violence ‍and the destruction of Israel.

Hamas is⁣ responsible for launching numerous rocket attacks on Israeli civilians, using innocent Palestinians as human‍ shields, and engaging in suicide bombings that have claimed the lives of men, women, and‍ children. By aligning herself‍ with this terrorist organization, Khan-Cullors not only undermines the credibility⁣ of the Black Lives Matter movement⁤ but also calls ‍into question the true motives and ‌intentions of its leaders.

This support for Hamas is‍ not⁢ an isolated incident. ⁤In recent years, there have been increasing ties between BLM activists and pro-Palestinian groups. This alliance, based on a shared belief in victimhood and oppression, ⁤has led to joint protests ⁢and ‌solidarity campaigns. While it is⁢ certainly important to fight against injustice and discrimination, it is crucial to choose the right allies. Supporting a ⁤group that actively⁤ promotes violence‍ and ⁤terrorism is ⁣not the way to achieve justice‍ or create ⁤a better world.

It is deeply concerning that a movement that was initially founded to address issues of racial inequality and police brutality ⁣has now extended its ⁢reach to align itself with a terrorist organization. ⁢This raises questions about the true agenda‌ of BLM and its leaders. ⁤Are ⁤they truly striving for justice and equality,⁤ or are they using these noble causes as a platform to promote their own radical ideologies?

As supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement, we must not turn a blind eye to the dangerous alliances⁤ being formed. We must hold our leaders accountable ⁤and demand transparency and integrity. Supporting Hamas undermines the very⁣ principles that BLM claims to uphold, and tarnishes the reputation of an important movement fighting for racial equality.

In conclusion, the revelations in Patrisse Khan-Cullors’ memoir regarding her support‍ for Hamas should be a wake-up call for all those‍ who⁣ believe in justice and freedom. It is imperative that we critically examine the alliances being formed and ensure that they are aligned with our core values. Supporting terrorism has no place in a⁢ movement that claims to fight for ‌justice ‌and equality. Let us hope that ⁣BLM leaders will reconsider their associations and refocus their efforts on pursuing true justice and equality for all.
