Court‌ documents ⁣have revealed that Oher received‍ a substantial sum of over $138,000,⁢ according to filings in the Shelby County Probate Court in⁤ Tennessee.

The story of “The ⁣Blind​ Side” is based on a book written by Michael Lewis and has ⁤been brought to life ⁣in a film adaptation featuring Sandra Bullock, Quinton Aaron, Tim McGraw, and Lily Collins, which depicts Oher’s remarkable‍ life journey.

These funds represent funds paid to‍ Mr. ⁢Tuohy ⁣and the portion paid over ‍to Mr. Oher,” according to a ⁣statement filed by the⁢ Tuohys’ lawyers.

The Tuohy family has⁢ previously stated that the movie ⁤did not bring them ​significant financial gain. The⁣ filing also emphasized that ‍the couple had personally spent tens of thousands of dollars to support Oher during his high school and⁣ college years.
