Another video features an interrogation with a Gazan resident, Hamuda Riad Asad Shamalah, who worked as an “internet application engineer at the [Hamas-run] Ministry of Health in Gaza.” Shamalah reveals that he and his family sought refuge at the Palestinian Red Crescent complex, where approximately 40,000 other refugees were also staying.
According to Shamalah, Hamas terrorists continued their operations within the complex, hiding rockets and small arms within mattresses. He expresses fear of confronting Hamas, as they could kill him, and emphasizes that the large number of people in the complex served as a shield for the terrorists.
