Anthony Fauci is set to testify before the House Pandemic Subcommittee regarding his role in the public health’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fauci, a former White House medical adviser, will give a two-day interview in January to the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic about his involvement in the public health response during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Two government and two personal attorneys will be present for the seven hours of testimony each day during the transcribed interview, which is scheduled for January 8th to the 9th.
The subcommittee declared that Fauci had consented to testify later in 2024, in addition to his interview.
Since he left his position with the government last year, House Republicans have made it clear that they intend to question Fauci. For almost 40 years he was the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
At the time of Fauci’s initial announcement of his resignation, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said on X that he “owes the American people answers” and that the majority of the House GOP will hold him responsible.
At the time, Fauci declared he would work with House Republicans to investigate the COVID-19 pandemic to the fullest extent possible.
He assumed the position of distinguished professor at Georgetown University subsequent to his resignation.
Subcommittee Chair Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio.) released a statement saying that Fauci’s testimony “will serve as a crucial component of the Select Subcommittee’s investigations into the origin of COVID-19, coercive mandates, gain-of-function type research, scientific censorship, and more.”
“It is time for Dr. Fauci to confront the facts and address the numerous controversies that have arisen during and after the pandemic,” Wenstrup continued. ”Americans deserve trusted public health leaders who prioritize the well-being of our people over any personal or political goals.”

How will Dr. Fauci’s testimony contribute to investigating the origin of COVID-19 and the controversies surrounding it?
An Interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci: A Crucial Component of Investigating COVID-19
Dr. Anthony Fauci, a former White House medical adviser and the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, is set to testify before the House Pandemic Subcommittee regarding his role in the public health’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic has scheduled a two-day interview with Dr. Fauci, which will take place in January. The interview will focus on his involvement in the public health response during the COVID-19 outbreak. To ensure transparency and accountability, two government attorneys and two personal attorneys will be present for the seven hours of testimony each day.
House Republicans have expressed their intention to question Dr. Fauci, especially after his resignation from the government last year. Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) stated that Dr. Fauci “owes the American people answers,” and the majority of the House GOP will hold him responsible. In response, Dr. Fauci declared his willingness to work with House Republicans to thoroughly investigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since his resignation, Dr. Fauci has assumed the position of distinguished professor at Georgetown University. His testimony before the subcommittee will be crucial in investigating several aspects of the pandemic, including the origin of COVID-19, coercive mandates, gain-of-function research, scientific censorship, and more. Subcommittee Chair Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) emphasized the importance of Dr. Fauci’s testimony in bringing forth the facts and addressing controversies related to the pandemic.
“It is time for Dr. Fauci to confront the facts and address the numerous controversies that have arisen during and after the pandemic,” said Wenstrup. “Americans deserve trusted public health leaders who prioritize the well-being of our people over any personal or political goals.”
The testimony of Dr. Fauci will play a vital role in understanding the actions taken during the COVID-19 pandemic and will help shed light on any potential missteps or controversies. It is crucial that public health leaders remain transparent and accountable, especially during times of crisis.
