45th President Donald Trump claims that President Joe Biden poses a grave threat to democracy and is undermining America’s credibility on the world stage, benefiting global rivals.
Speaking at a rally in Durham, New Hampshire, Trump confidently highlighted his lead over his opponents, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley (R-S.C.) and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.).
Trump also referenced Russian President Vladimir Putin, who suggested that the “political prosecution” of Trump benefits Russia by exposing the flaws in the American political system.
“But even Vladimir Putin, has anybody ever heard of Vladimir Putin of Russia, says that Biden, and this is a quote, ‘politically motivated persecution of his political rival is very good for Russia because it shows the rottenness of the American political system,’ which cannot pretend to teach others about democracy,” Trump stated.
Furthermore, Trump emphasized that his presidency saw no new wars, unlike the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Israel.

What are some of the allegations made by Trump against Biden’s policies and actions that he believes threaten democracy in the United States?
Making these statements about a sitting President or about anything having to do with a President in the United States? Nobody would ever make a statement like that before.”
Trump’s remarks come as he continues to tease a potential run for the presidency in 2024. Despite facing multiple legal challenges and impeachment during his time in office, Trump remains a popular figure among his supporters, who view him as a champion of conservative values and a disruptor of the political establishment.
Throughout his presidency, Trump was known for his controversial and unconventional approach to politics. His brash style and unfiltered communication on social media often drew criticism and sparked heated debates. However, his supporters argue that his honesty and willingness to speak his mind was a refreshing change from the scripted and politically correct rhetoric of many politicians.
Since leaving office, Trump has continued to make his voice heard through various means, including rallies, interviews, and social media. He has not shied away from expressing his opinions on current events and criticizing the actions and policies of the Biden administration.
One of the key points Trump raised during his speech in New Hampshire is the allegation of Biden’s threat to democracy. This claim stems from Trump’s belief that Biden’s policies and actions, such as his handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal and immigration, are undermining the integrity of the democratic system in the United States.
Moreover, Trump accuses Biden of diminishing America’s credibility on the world stage. He argues that Biden’s foreign policy decisions, such as reentering the Paris Climate Agreement and lifting sanctions on Iran, are benefiting America’s adversaries and weakening its position as a global leader.
While Trump’s claims may resonate with his supporters, they are not without controversy. Critics argue that Trump himself posed a threat to democracy during his presidency, citing his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election and his divisive rhetoric.
Furthermore, Biden and his supporters have defended his actions as necessary steps to address pressing issues and restore America’s standing in the world. They argue that Trump’s isolationist policies and unpredictable behavior damaged America’s relationships with its allies and undermined its credibility.
As the debate continues, it remains to be seen how Trump’s rhetoric and allegations against Biden will impact public opinion and future elections. With Trump hinting at a potential presidential run in 2024, his attacks on Biden are likely to intensify as he seeks to position himself as a viable alternative to the current administration.
