This championship remains the most recent for the Browns and was also the most recent major professional sports championship in Cleveland until the Cleveland Cavaliers claimed the 2016 NBA Finals.
Following his time with the Browns, Ryan spent his final two NFL seasons with the Washington Redskins before retiring after the 1970 season.
