The filing stated that the two‌ “have been engaged in ⁢an improper, clandestine personal relationship‍ during the pendency of this case.”

Roman claimed that ‍both ⁣parties “personally benefitted” from the⁣ relationship, as Wade was paid $654,000 for his role in assisting her office to prosecute Trump.

Additionally, the motion added that ⁤the money he was⁤ making was used to ⁣pay for lavish vacations he took with Willis.

“Information ⁤obtained outside of court filings indicates that the district attorney and special prosecutor have traveled personally together to such places as Napa Valley, Florida and the Caribbean and the special ‌prosecutor has purchased tickets for both of them to travel ⁣on both the Norwegian and Royal Caribbean cruise lines. Traveling together to such places as Washington, D.C. or⁣ New York City might make sense⁤ for work purposes in light of other⁢ pending litigation, but what work ⁤purpose could only be served by travel to this traditional vacation destinations?” the filing⁢ questioned.

The submission⁣ further mentioned that there ‍was “no substantiating evidence” indicating that Willis had the authorization for the substantial salary allocated to compensate Wade for his efforts on the case.

A spokesperson for ‌Willis, Pallavi Bailey, stated that⁣ the ⁣DA’s office will ‍respond to the allegations “through appropriate court filings.”

Roman is⁤ one of 18 co-defendants‍ being charged by Willis. She claims that Trump and ⁣18 others took part in a ‌vast conspiracy to allegedly⁤ “forcibly⁢ attempt ‍to maintain the presidential office”‌ after Democrat Joe Biden‍ was named as the winner.

Trump is facing 13 charges in Georgia. Willis charged⁣ the ‍45th president with violating⁤ the ⁣Georgia RICO⁢ Act, solicitation of⁤ violation of oath by a ⁣public officer, conspiring to ⁣impersonate a public ⁤officer, conspiring to commit‍ forgery in the first degree and conspiring to file false documents.
