They need to understand that the might of the American military goes beyond aiding our allies. The United States has a clear strategic interest in supporting Israel, not only to assist our only diplomatic ally in the Middle East but also to deter aggression worldwide, including potential Chinese invasion of Taiwan. However, it is crucial for America and its allies to emphasize this point to the broader Middle East, particularly the regions that play a vital role in global shipping. These areas are increasingly under the control of the medieval pirates known as the Hamas- and Iran-allied Houthis in Yemen.
