Qatar’s Natural Gas Production Set to Skyrocket by 85%

“As expected, just weeks after the Biden administration effectively sanctioned America’s LNG industry, Qatar has swooped in to claim the billions of dollars in market share that the White House has left behind,” the former official added.
QatarEnergy, a state-owned company, plans to expand LNG production, potentially allowing the Gulf nation to control up to 25% of the global market by 2030, according to Reuters.
This economic boost for Qatar comes after years of anti-U.S. activities by Doha, including providing shelter to senior Hamas leaders involved in attacks on Israel and being a major funder of Hamas and other Islamist groups across the Middle East. Additionally, Qatar maintains close ties with Iran.
