Voters Head to the Polls for Super Tuesday Showdown
Voters across 16 states and one U.S. territory are heading to the polls on Tuesday for what is set to be the biggest primary election night of the 2024 cycle.
The elections are expected to all but determine who the candidates will be for both Republicans and Democrats, with about one-third of the delegates at stake on Super Tuesday night. Here are the races to keep an eye on:
Oklahoma
Results:
- Biden won the Oklahoma Democratic primary, securing the state’s 36 delegates. Biden had 81% of the vote.
- Trump won the Oklahoma Republican primary. Trump had 77% of the vote.

Tennessee
Results:
- Trump won the Tennessee Republican primary, securing the state’s 58 delegates. Trump had 80.3% of the vote.
- Biden won the Tennessee Democratic primary. Biden had 94.9% of the vote.

North Carolina
Results:
- Biden won the North Carolina Democratic primary. Biden led with 92.2% of the vote.
- Trump won the North Carolina Republican primary. Trump earned nearly 73% of the vote.
