Biden must apologize to Americans for his open border, not to the crossing killers
President Biden’s Apology Falls Short
President Joe Biden had a chance this week to apologize to Laken Riley’s family and the millions of other Americans victimized by the border invasion he incentivized. Instead, the Democrat apologized for referring to Riley’s alleged murderer, a native Venezuelan with a criminal history, as “illegal” during his State of the Union address last Thursday.
It would have been politically advantageous for Biden, whose disapproval rating reached another record high last week, to use his sitdown with MSNBC over the weekend to own his “illegal” verbiage and apologize to the late Georgia college student’s family for incorrectly referring to her as “Lincoln Riley.”
Rather than beg for the forgiveness of the people his border crisis has wronged, Biden kowtowed to Democrats and their allies in the corporate media who demonized the use of the word “illegal” to describe foreigners who illicitly cross the U.S.-Mexico border.
NEW: President Biden tells MSNBC that he regrets using the word “illegal” during his State of the Union speech to refer to the alleged killer of Laken Riley.
“I shouldn’t have used ‘illegal.’ It’s undocumented.”
Tune in at 6pm ET on MSNBC for the full interview.
Capehart’s question was clearly aimed at eliciting an explanation from Biden that would sate the people running the public backlash campaign against him for using forbidden terminology from the podium during his most important speech of the year. Biden gladly complied.
“When I spoke about the difference between Trump and me, one of the things I talked about on the border was the way he talks about vermin, the way he talks about these people polluting the blood. I talked about what I’m not going to do, what I won’t do. I’m not going to treat any, any, any of these people with disrespect. Look, they built the country. The reason our economy is growing,” Biden said.
Capehart, still unsatisfied with Biden’s groveling, asked point blank whether “you regret using that word.”
“Yes,” Biden enthusiastically replied.
There’s no doubt that Biden is to blame for the increasing number of thwartable crimes by foreigners who crossed the open border with his blessing. It’s under Biden’s rollback of border security, vetting, and punishment that illegal border crossers like Riley’s murderer are entering the U.S. and committing crimes that cost Americans’ time, money, and, in cases like Riley’s, lives.
Illegal immigrant proudly wears a Biden/Harris t-shirt so that they’ll let him illegally enter the country.
Biden isn’t sorry for any of it. If that wasn’t abundantly clear when the president apologized for classifying the illegal border crosser as an illegal border crosser, it was certainly clear when he claimed foreigners like alleged murderer Jose Ibarra “built the country” and are “the reason our economy is growing.”
Ibarra was previously arrested for “reckless endangerment of a child and acting in a manner injurious to a child.” Thanks to Democrats’ policies, however, he quickly bonded out and fled to a county that bans law enforcement from asking about immigration status and even offers illegal border crossers legal aid. It was there that he allegedly kidnapped and murdered a promising young woman by bashing her head.
Illegal border crossers with criminal histories or intentions like Ibarra aren’t making our nation better or growing our economy. They are endangering our cities and stealing our livelihoods.
Any effort by Biden and Democrats to suggest Riley’s alleged murderer deserves no “disrespect” is an insulting information operation designed to undermine Americans’ true feelings and frustrations about the ongoing border invasion.
Americans and Riley’s family deserve an apology, but Biden and Democrats will do anything, including apologizing and paying respect to a foreign murderer, to avoid giving it.

Why does President Biden’s apology fail to address the concerns and grievances of the victims of the border crisis?
Ing the country and posing a threat to American citizens. Yet, rather than acknowledging his role in the border crisis and apologizing for the suffering it has caused, Biden chose to focus on semantics and politically correct language.
By apologizing for using the word “illegal” to describe the alleged killer of Laken Riley, Biden effectively shifted the blame away from himself and onto those who criticized his choice of words. He portrayed himself as a champion of respect and welcomed the notion that referring to individuals who illegally cross the border as “undocumented” is more appropriate. This not only undermines the severity of the issue at hand but also ignores the legal implications of entering a country without proper documentation.
Moreover, Biden’s apology falls short because it fails to address the concerns and grievances of the victims of the border crisis. Laken Riley’s family and the millions of other Americans affected by the influx of illegal immigrants deserve a sincere apology and a commitment from the President to take concrete actions to secure the border and protect American citizens. Instead, they were met with empty words and a dismissal of their valid concerns.
Furthermore, Biden’s apology highlights a concerning trend within the Democratic party and their allies in the corporate media. The demonization of the word “illegal” and the push to use more euphemistic terms is an attempt to manipulate public opinion and shape the narrative surrounding immigration. By reframing the issue, they seek to obscure the fact that illegal immigration has serious consequences for the safety, economy, and social fabric of the country.
It is essential for President Biden to acknowledge his role in the border crisis and take responsibility for the harm it has caused. Apologizing for using the word “illegal” in reference to an alleged murderer is a diversion from the real issue at hand. The American people deserve honesty, transparency, and solutions to the border crisis, not empty apologies and political posturing.
In conclusion, President Biden’s apology falls short in addressing the concerns of the victims of the border crisis and fails to take responsibility for his role in incentivizing illegal immigration. By focusing on semantics and politically correct language, he dodges the real issue and dismisses the legitimate concerns of the American people. It is time for the President to prioritize the safety and well-being of American citizens and take concrete actions to secure the border.
