Tennessee venue cancels ‘Trans Day Of Vengeance’ event following Daily Wire coverage
The planned “Transgender Day of Vengeance” event near Nashville on Easter Sunday, close to the anniversary of a tragic incident involving a transgender individual, was called off due to security concerns stemming from media coverage. Organizers faced backlash for the event’s theme and defended their decision on social media. The cancellation drew criticism from local officials and residents in the conservative area.
A “Transgender Day of Vengeance” outside of Nashville, scheduled for Easter Sunday the week of the anniversary of the mass killing of schoolchildren by a transgender terrorist, has been cancelled following the exposure of the event in The Daily Wire.
Organizers did not apologize for the optics of calling for “vengeance” near the anniversary of the Covenant mass murder, but rather claimed that they were victims.
“Event Canceled. Due to misleading headlines from right wing news sites, we have received many threats. … We will be having a make up show at a later date and a new venue. … We decided the threat was too great, and we don’t want to risk anyone’s safety,” Boro Fondo, a festival group that sponsored the event, said on Instagram.
Organizers did not respond to a text message asking for specifics or evidence of any threats.
The concert was set for the Graveyard Gallery in Murfreesboro, about an hour from Nashville, shocking residents in what one resident called “the heart of the Bible Belt.” The show was to raise money for sex-change operations and to mail chest binders to people who “could not access them.”
Tennessee State Rep. Clay Doggett, the chairman of the legislature’s Criminal Justice Subcommittee, condemned the event’s scheduling, telling The Daily Wire, “It’s incredibly insensitive to the memory of the victims, their families, and the entire Nashville community that is still grieving over this horrific tragedy. … The shock of evil that happened at Covenant School on that day will never fade.”
A “Transgender Day of Vengeance” in D.C. scheduled for last year, was also cancelled for the same reason — not out of compassion for the victims of the transgender-identifying child killer, but because of claims that transgender people would be harmed at the event.

The bands set to play the show included Dumpster Pussy, Dru The Drifter + The Back Alley Hookers, Boy Clothes, Spinning Lodge, and the Oitakus.
Participants had little compassion when The Daily Wire asked them about the optics of hosting the event on the anniversary week of the Covenant shooting, when a Left-wing gun-woman who believed she was a gun-man killed three children and three adults. A band member in Spinning Lodge, on of the bands scheduled to play, did not reply to a request for comment, but instead posted the reporter’s phone number to incite harassment.
The band’s singer describes himself on Facebook as a “She/It trans goblin girl…. far left.” Its Facebook banner is a picture of the Daily Wire article and profile picture features a Palestinian flag.
Spinning Lodge said on social media that a Daily Wire reporter “tried to present himself neutrally,” but contained “misinformation,” including being offended that the article described the terrorist as a “transgender-identifying woman” instead of “transgender.”
The Daily Wire article said that while transgender people call for “vengeance” against a “genocide,” FBI statistics show no such thing, with only two transgender people killed in hate crimes in 2021, both by black men.
Spinning Lodge suggested that that’s because the FBI was in on it, saying, “his reasoning there can be no genocide is that anti-trans hate crime rates are too low. I don’t think he understands genocide. It’s kinda the whole point that the violence and attempted elimination of a group of people are state sponsored.”
