The View co-host Ana Navarro shared her concerns about pro-Palestinian campus protesters not using their energy to show up to the polls, which could lead to the reelection of former President Donald Trump.
“I fled dictatorship,” Navarro said Monday. “I fled civil war in Nicaragua, and the one thing that distinguishes us as a country is that we have the right to protest peacefully. We have the right to assemble peacefully. We have the right to freedom of speech.”
Navarro then shared a warning to the campus demonstrators.
“The part that I wish we need to focus on, though, is that this all could end tomorrow,” Navarro said. “It could end today if Hamas released the hostages. We have, you know, we’re now talking about this war that has spilled into American soil. We’re at an ideological war with each other.”
The television host, 52, said there is not enough talk about the hostages, but that it is OK to disagree about Israel and its prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
“I think it’s OK — I think it’s deserved to hate Hamas and not equate it with Palestinians, and the only thing I want to remind Americans, though, as they’re protesting is, you know, and we heard it. We’ve heard it,” the Nicaraguan-American political strategist said. “We heard them call Joe Biden, you know, a genocidal assassin and all sorts of things. There is not one group that anybody is protesting over that will be better off under Donald Trump.”

The View co-host addressed the criticisms of President Joe Biden in the debate over the administration’s handling of the war and then took a shot at the former president.
She added, “So be very careful that you don’t cut off your nose to spite your face by not showing up to vote in November because the first thing that Donald Trump did when he became president was issue a Muslim ban, and if you think not showing up to vote is not going to help Donald Trump get elected and Donald Trump will give Palestine any justice, I want what you’re smoking.”
