Trump reassures Levin: “We can do it again.
Former President Donald Trump, in an interview with Mark Levin, highlighted his support among Republicans and lead over President Joe Biden in polls due to a yearning for past stability. Trump emphasized the desire for low inflation, secure borders, and global peace, echoing sentiments of a hopeful resurgence. The conversation took place amidst ongoing legal battles and political tensions, rallying his supporters.
Former President Donald Trump believes that his sustained popularity among Republicans and lead over President Joe Biden in many polls are the result of people eager for a return to low inflation, controlled borders, and general world peace.
In a chatty interview with top conservative talker Mark Levin on Wednesday night, Trump said, “People remember what we had four or five years ago — they remember. We can have it again.”
Trump appeared on the Mark Levin Show after a New York jury began deliberating a hush money trial against him. Trump and Levin said Biden’s “DNA” is all over the case and others.
Levin said the legal cases have helped to rally people to Trump. “Well, Mr. President, you have millions and millions of people here who are watching this, who are fed up with what’s taking place. They know this war on you is a war on them and a war on this country,” the popular radio and TV host and author said.
The former president cited polls showing him ahead of Biden and popular among Republicans and said that could be the difference in the election.
“I always reel when they say we have two unpopular candidates, Biden and Trump. Well, I’m at 95% approval in the Republican Party,” Trump said.
“He is really unpopular. It’s such an embarrassment for our country. He is the worst president in the history of our country. And Jimmy Carter is brilliant. His administration, by comparison, was brilliant,” Trump added.
Polls have shown that Democrats want Biden replaced on the 2024 ticket.
Trump touched on several campaign topics, including immigration, inflation, and the war in Ukraine.
He also raised Biden’s flip-flopping positions on Israel and the Palestinians, a matter Levin has focused on since the Hamas invasion in October.
Trump said he believes that Biden has abandoned Israel with his agenda. He also expressed surprise that Jews would vote for Biden.
Trump: You wouldn’t have had Oct. 7, which is a big love for you, that whole Israel thing that you love so much, right? You love Israel, and I understand that, and I do, too. Look, I’ve been the best president ever for Israel.
Levin: Yes, you have.
Trump: And in Israel, they do love me.
Levin: Yes, they do.
Trump: I just don’t understand how a Democrat can vote for a guy like crooked Joe Biden. I don’t understand. If you’re a Democrat and you happen to be Israeli or any person.
Levin: Or Jewish.
Trump: If you happen to be Israeli or love Israel or be Jewish. How can you vote for this guy?

The former president also dismissed charges that he is divisive and cited his multirace rally in the Bronx last weekend as proof.
“They couldn’t let them in, too many people. It was so beautiful, Mark. It was love, and it was black, white, it was brown, everything was there. Everybody was there. It was a beautiful thing to see,” Trump said.
