Alec and wife Hilaria Baldwin are getting their own reality show, even as the actor awaits his involuntary manslaughter trial in the 2021 “Rust” shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
On Wednesday on Instagram, the 66-year-old actor and his wife announced a new reality show on TLC will center around their family of seven young children all under the age of 10 with a working show title called “The Baldwins.”
They captioned the post, “We’ve got an exciting announcement to share! Coming in 2025 …”
“We’re inviting you into our home, to experience the ups and downs, the good and the bad, the wild and the crazy,” the “Saturday Night Live” star said with Hilaria by his side, as clips played showing their children running around screaming and playing.
“Home is the place we love to be most,” Baldwin added, as he and his wife tried to get their kids to all together coordinate and say, “We are the Baldwins.” The Hollywood star closed out the announcement by adding, “and we’re coming to TLC.”

Before making the announcement, Alec joked with his wife that she wasn’t about to announce she was pregnant again and she confirmed they were done making kids.
Alec and Hilaria tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed their first child, a daughter together a year later. Baldwin also shares an older daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
The reality show news comes as the actor awaits trial after being charged with involuntary manslaughter in Hutchins’ death and pleading not guilty to the charge, as previously reported.
In October 2021, the “30 Rock” star was involved in the shooting of Hutchins on the New Mexico film set. The firearm Baldwin was holding discharged a bullet. Baldwin has repeatedly maintained that there was “no trigger pull.”
The actor’s attorney Luke Nikas has maintained that Baldwin “had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun – or anywhere on the movie set,” CBS News previously noted.
“He relied on the professionals with whom he worked, who assured him the gun did not have live rounds,” he added. “We will fight these charges, and we will win.”
In April, the 26-year-old film’s weapons supervisor Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after she was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of Hutchins
After the verdict was read, defense attorney Jason Bowles said they would appeal the decision, People magazine reported.
Baldwin’s trial is set to take place in July.
