Poll: 60% of Voters Support Mass Deportation of Illegal Immigrants, Agreeing with Trump
A recent CBS News/YouGov poll indicates that a majority (62%) of registered American voters support a proposed government program aimed at deporting all illegal aliens in the U.S. This sentiment is especially strong among Republicans (88% support), while 60% of independents and 38% of Democrats also favor the initiative. The poll also shows that 62% support local law enforcement efforts to identify illegal aliens, although there is less enthusiasm (52% opposition) for the creation of large detention centers to hold these individuals pending deportation decisions.
The survey suggests political implications, with 49% of respondents believing that a second term for President Biden would lead to an increase in illegal border crossings, whereas 70% believe such incidents would decrease if Donald Trump were re-elected. This opinion is juxtaposed against the backdrop of a report claiming over 10 million illegal entries into the U.S. since Biden’s presidency began. The article also criticizes mainstream media, accusing them of bias and of undermining Trump’s deportation plans while amplifying negative portrayals of his proposed policies.
A majority of voters support efforts to mass deport illegal aliens residing in the United States, a newly released survey found.
Conducted by CBS News/YouGov, the poll showed that 62 percent of registered voters favor, “in principle, a new government program to deport all [foreign nationals] living in the U.S. illegally.” This includes backing from 88 percent of Republicans, 60 percent of independents, and 38 percent of Democrats.
The survey additionally found similar levels of support (62 percent) for allowing local law enforcement to try and identify aliens residing in the United States illegally. A slight majority (52 to 48 percent), however, oppose the government “establishing large detention centers, where people would be sent and held, while the government determined whether or not they should be deported.”
Voters also appear to believe President Biden’s reelection will worsen the ongoing invasion at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Nearly half (49 percent) of those polled believe a second Biden term will increase the number of aliens attempting to cross the border, compared to 5 percent who said the same will occur if Donald Trump wins in November. A whopping 70 percent said they believe attempted border crossings will decrease if Trump wins, compared to 20 percent who said the same should Biden win.
More than 10 million illegal aliens are estimated to have illegally entered the United States since Biden took office in January 2021, according to the Washington Examiner.
While a majority of voters support efforts to remove aliens violating U.S. sovereignty, it’s abundantly clear that legacy media “journalists” — who regularly run interference for Biden’s border invasion — do not. Specifically, these regime-approved apparatchiks have thrown a full-fledged tantrum over Trump’s campaign pledge to carry out the “largest domestic deportation operation in American history” if elected this November.
On Monday, for example, the uber left-wing Daily Beast ran a moronic article titled “Trump’s Mass Deportation Plan Is ‘Big Government’ Gone Mad,” in which author Eleanor Clift laughingly attempts to claim that deporting aliens residing in the United States illegally would make Trump and Republicans hypocrites because doing so would “increase the weight of the federal government in people’s lives in a way that runs counter to a political party that supposedly prides itself on small government.”
Ironic how Democrats are suddenly concerned about the power of government when it’s being used to lawfully remove the millions of aliens Democrats want to turn into their next class of voters.
Meanwhile, the Associated Press was all too eager to run a piece highlighting plans by the left-wing American Civil Liberties Union to file a bevy of lawsuits against a potential second Trump administration should the president carry out his plans for mass deportations.
