Washington, D.C.
The average price for a gallon of regular gas in the nation’s capital was $3.67. This is a slight increase from yesterday’s price of $3.667 per gallon. On the other hand, Wednesday’s gas prices were slightly lower than last week when it cost $3.676 per gallon for regular gas. A month ago, gas was $3.718 per gallon.
Delaware
The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Delaware on Wednesday is $3.481. This is slightly cheaper than Tuesday’s price of $3.499 per gallon. Both prices are more expensive than at this time last week to get regular gas in the state when prices stood at $3.417 per gallon. It is also more expensive for a gallon of regular-grade gas now than a month ago when gas was $3.453 per gallon.
Virginia
On Wednesday, the average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Virginia was $3.343. This is a decrease from yesterday’s average of $3.35 per gallon. A week ago, regular-grade gas was $3.325 per gallon in Virginia, and a month ago, it was $3.402.

Maryland
In Maryland, a gallon of regular-grade gas is $3.551 on Wednesday. This is a decrease from yesterday’s price of $3.572. It is, however, an increase from last week’s price of $3.519 per gallon. The state’s average gas price is also more expensive than it was a month ago when it cost $3.549 for a gallon of regular gas.
Florida
Florida is a popular travel destination during the summer months. And those who drive in Florida will pay $3.32 per gallon, the average price for regular gas in the Sunshine State. Wednesday’s price is considerably more expensive than yesterday when the average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.226, according to AAA. Prices apparently fluctuate in the state as gas prices a week ago were less expensive than Wednesday’s price, coming in at $3.28 per gallon. Gas prices today are much lower than a month ago when gas cost $3.451 per gallon.
