Melania Trump would likely split most of her time between Palm Beach, Florida, and New York, according to a report from Axios. The former first couple have been living at Mar-a-Lago in the Sunshine State since they left the White House in January 2021.

During her husband’s first term, Melania Trump did not move into the White House until June 2017, reportedly so as not to interrupt their son Barron’s school year. Barron was 10 at the time of his father’s inauguration in January 2017.

While in the White House, she spearheaded several renovations and restorations to parts of the historic executive mansion in downtown Washington. The most prominent projects at the White House during her time included the revamped tennis pavilion and Rose Garden.

While playing a role in Donald Trump’s administration through her “Be Best” initiative, Melania Trump has shied away from the campaign trail and the spotlight since leaving the White House.
