Verdict: False

This is not a genuine post from Kelce. It originates from a parody account.

Fact Check:

Kelce recently said he would leave the Chiefs if he was offered to join a team in London, according to Daily Mail. “To play for another team, other than the Chiefs. That’s the only situation – is if I get to play abroad,” he said during his podcast, the outlet reported.

The post shared on X purportedly shows a screenshot of a tweet from the NFL star in which he calls Trump a profanity. An image shows a post with Travis Kelce’s name in the title and a blue checkmark.

“Can you imagine if I started making excuses for losing the Superbowl BEFORE the Superbowl?” it reads. “Yet this bitch behavior is Trump’s bread and butter.”

This is not a genuine post, however. It cannot be found through a search of Kelce’s X or Facebook accounts. Additionally, Kelce’s X handle is @tkelce not, @tkelp, as shown in the image. (RELATED: Did Travis Kelce Call For Harrison Butker To Be Fired From Team)

The image was originally posted to X by @FaithRubPol. The bottom right corner of the original photo reads “Parody by Rub.” The account’s bio reads, in part, “Most of the images we share are parodies.”

Kelce caused a controversy in April after “liking” an Instagram photo of Trump’s night out at UFC 299, according to Newsweek.

Check Your Fact reached out to a Kansas City Chiefs spokesperson for comment and will update this piece accordingly if one is received.
