Veterans criticize Biden for reportedly making insulting remarks during call with Democrats

Several veterans who ‍have received Bronze Stars criticized​ President Joe Biden for making insulting comments towards Democratic Colorado Rep. ​Jason ‌Crow. ⁢Biden reportedly became angry during a Zoom call with moderate Democrats who ⁢were concerned about‌ his ability to win the election. The veterans found Biden’s comments disrespectful and spoke out against them. One veteran, who asked to remain anonymous, said, “As a combat veteran who has served ⁤this country with honor, I‌ was appalled by President Biden’s comments towards Rep. Crow. Dismissing his concerns and questioning his loyalty to the⁢ party was completely uncalled for and disrespectful. ⁤As a leader, Biden should‌ know better than to speak to a fellow veteran in such a condescending manner.”

Another veteran, Jim Smith, a former Army Staff Sergeant who received a Bronze Star for his service in ⁣Afghanistan, said, “It’s disappointing to see the President of the United States belittle ⁢a fellow veteran in this way. Regardless of political differences, we should always ⁤show respect and gratitude towards those who have served our country.​ Biden’s comments‍ were completely⁤ out ‍of line and do not reflect⁤ the values of our military⁣ community.”

The veterans called on President Biden to apologize to Rep. Crow and to show more respect towards his fellow veterans in the future. They emphasized the importance of honoring and supporting those who have ⁣served​ our country, regardless of political beliefs.
