‘Little black book’ could reveal if Jeffrey Epstein was a spy – Washington Examiner
The owner of Jeffrey Epstein’s ”little black book” believes it may contain evidence suggesting that Epstein was a foreign spy. This anonymous individual plans to auction the book online on August 16, seeking a buyer capable of investigating the names and numbers handwritten within. Previously, the owner rejected a six-figure offer during a sealed-bid auction, emphasizing their desire for the information to be thoroughly explored. The book, a 64-page compilation of Epstein’s associates, includes names such as former President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Its origins trace back to the 1990s when it was found on a New York City street. The auctioneer, Bill Panagopulos, highlights the book’s potential for revealing untold stories linked to Epstein, particularly after his controversial death in jail in 2019.
‘Little black book’ could reveal if Jeffrey Epstein was a spy
The holder of Jeffrey Epstein’s “little black book” believes it could hold the answer to suspicions that the late sex offender was a foreign spy.
Eager for the cryptic scribbles and numbers to be investigated, the anonymous owner is putting the book up for online public auction on Aug. 16, with the goal of selling it to somebody capable of tracking down those named in it.
Auctioneer Bill Panagopulos, president of Maryland-based Alexander Historical Auctions, told Secrets on Tuesday that in a previous sealed-bid auction, the book’s owner turned down a six-figure offer.
“As it turns out, when we offered the book for sealed-bid offers, we received a handful of offers, one at six figures. Seller chose to roll the bones at our public auction instead,” but it didn’t work out, Panagopulos said.
“He’s far more concerned about the data within being researched, especially tracing the numbers with no names or just first names attached. He is also quite convinced that Epstein, who came from nowhere to become very rich, very fast, was turned by a foreign government or agency, which a lot of people have suggested,” the auctioneer of Americana relics and historical items added.
It was Epstein’s first known book listing his associates, a 64-page predecessor to the larger and better-known book of secret listings used to help jail him on charges of sex trafficking minors. He died in a suspicious jail cell hanging in 2019.
The smaller book came to light after Epstein’s death. It includes names of the wealthy financier’s friends and allies, including former President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. It was found on a midtown New York City street in the 1990s.

“This criminal relic undoubtedly still has many stories to tell for those who want to do the digging. All the means are there,” Panagopulos told Secrets when we wrote about his initial auction of the book.
For the description of the book, Panagopulos wrote, “There are 386 printed entries with two additional entries penned in a childlike hand on the last page, very similar to Epstein’s hand but the sample is too small for us to warrant this as fact. They vary in length from only a few lines to over 10-15 lines or more each, and each of these entries may have several more names included within. Additionally, 94 names bear black, hand-applied checkmarks, and five have been highlighted in yellow. All five names, including that of Donald Trump, are well-recognized financial and industrial figures. The significance of the checked and highlighted names is unknown. The details included in the vast majority of the entries are most extensive: Epstein not only includes the name, address and telephone number of his contact, but in most cases also adds other residential addresses and numbers, contact information for family members, secretaries, immediate employees, and associates of the individual, cellphone and pager numbers, and in at least one instance, a contact’s girl friend’s number. There is also a good deal of information hinting at Epstein’s sordid past.”
