Riley Gaines confirmed as speaker for Trump’s first post-DNC rally

Women’s sports activist and OutKick host Riley Gaines confirmed Wednesday that she will speak at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Glendale, Arizona, hinting that Vice President Kamala Harris’s “honeymoon” in the 2024 race is over.

The rally in Arizona, scheduled to open its doors at 2 p.m. Eastern on Friday, will be Trump’s first rally after the Democratic National Convention ends on Thursday and is being hosted by Turning Point Action. The rally is Trump’s latest visit to a battleground state, as he has visited others this week as part of his counterprogramming to the DNC.

“This will be President Trump’s FIRST rally following the DNC, so there will be much to discuss,” Gaines wrote on X. “The Kamala Honeymoon is over.”

Other confirmed speakers attending this rally include Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake and Reps. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), and Eli Crane (R-AZ).

Noticeably, independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. will be making a campaign announcement live on Friday in nearby Phoenix. It is speculated that Kennedy could suspend his campaign and give his endorsement to Trump.

The visit by Trump to Arizona, a state he won in 2016 but lost in 2020, comes after he conducted a campaign rally in North Carolina, another swing state, on Wednesday. The former president previously visited Pennsylvania on Monday and Michigan the following day.
