Riley Gaines’s Trans-fixed docuseries delves into ‘injustice’ of transgender movement – Washington Examiner
The article discusses Riley Gaines’s new docuseries titled “Trans-fixed,” which aims to investigate the perceived injustices and dangers associated with the transgender movement. Premiering on the Washington Examiner, the series consists of four episodes that initially focus on the effects of transgender ideology on women’s sports—a topic Gaines has actively campaigned against. The docuseries further highlights the implications of the movement on minors, including instances of chemical and surgical procedures.
Gaines emphasizes that while female athletes are at risk, the true victims are the children undergoing these transitions. The series includes testimonials from families affected by these decisions, including an anonymous family who lost a child to the transitioning process, leading to intervention from Child Protective Services. Gaines reflects on the broader fears many families share regarding the impact of gender ideology.
Additionally, the docuseries features the story of Prisha Mosley, a detransitioner who has faced significant personal challenges as a result of her prior decisions. Gaines is portrayed as advocating for awareness and understanding of these complex issues, as the narratives depicted in “Trans-fixed” are described as a small representation of a much larger crisis within the country.
Riley Gaines’s Trans-fixed docuseries delves into ‘injustice’ of transgender movement
EXCLUSIVE — Outkick’s Gaines for Girls podcast host Riley Gaines debuted her new documentary series, Trans-fixed, to the Washington Examiner ahead of its release Thursday.
The new docuseries explores the danger and “injustice” that the transgender movement poses.
The miniseries, consisting of four episodes, begins with a look at the impact that transgender ideology has had on women’s sports — a subject Gaines has been vocal about for years, including giving testimony before Congress. As the series progresses, it also explores the other impacts the transgender movement has had, including the convincing of minors to undergo extensive surgeries.
“What I’ve realized about the gender ideology movement, yes, female athletes are certainly at risk, but what we are seeing on the transing of minors, how minors are being chemically and surgically castrated. They are the victims in this story,” Gaines told the Washington Examiner. “And so we talk to many families with children who have transitioned, some who have been de-transitioned, parents who have lost their children. We talked to de-transitioners themselves about the process that they went through, how they called themselves ‘medical experiments.’”
Gaines added that the docuseries is “all encompassing” on how the transgender movement has impacted life and that the “heartbreaking” stories told in the series represent a small portion of those happening throughout the country. As such, she stressed how people “need to hear” these stories.
One of the stories explored in this series is told by an anonymous family, who lost one of their family members after their child chose to transition and the government “obtained their child.” The family, who is “rotted” in biblical values, chose not to affirm their child’s gender identity, prompting Child Protective Services to get involved.
“This family, they never thought they were going to have to go through this,” Gaines said. “They thought, ‘This wouldn’t affect us, we’re a family, we’ve got multiple kids — this won’t happen to our family.’ Yet it did, which, again, is the fear that I think a lot of families possess today.”
Another story explored in this series is that of detransitioner Prisha Mosley, who became pregnant following her de-transition. Mosley stated that she underwent three “medical experiments” in her life, which include transitioning, de-transitioning, and her pregnancy.
The documentary series releases on Thursday on Fox Nation and is executively produced by Gaines.
Last month, Gaines said she plans to vote for former President Donald Trump despite the fact that some are voting for Vice President Kamala Harris since she is a woman. “I am voting for Donald J. Trump BECAUSE I am a woman,” Gaines said at a Trump rally in Glendale, Arizona.
Trump has called to protect women’s sports from transgender athletes and has also vowed to ban transgender surgeries for minors should he win the 2024 election.
