Nikki Haley lands radio show until presidential inauguration – Washington Examiner
Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has secured a new media role following her 2024 Republican primary campaign. She announced her partnership with SiriusXM to host a weekly show titled **Nikki Haley Live**, which will debut on September 25, airing every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on channel 111. In her show, Haley aims to engage listeners by discussing significant news headlines, election updates, global issues, U.S. policies, and even touch on music and entertainment. She plans to incorporate open dialogues with a diverse array of guests and callers to explore the challenges facing Americans across different perspectives. Haley emphasizes that this platform will empower the public with facts and address their concerns beyond the typical distractions presented by mainstream media.
Former Trump primary rivals get media gigs before election
First it was Vivek Ramaswamy, and now former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has landed a media gig after her 2024 Republican primary campaign.
“The American people are smart,” Haley wrote in an email to supporters Tuesday. “They’re sick of distractions in D.C. and noise from the mainstream media. They want to know what the issues are and how the solutions will impact them. That’s why starting on Wednesday, September 25, I’m excited to partner with SiriusXM on a weekly show that breaks down the policies and empowers the American people with the facts.”
Haley’s program, Nikki Haley Live, will air every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on SiriusXM channel 111. The former South Carolina governor said she would “break down the week’s most significant headlines, including the upcoming election, hotspots around the world, U.S. policy, and even some music and entertainment.”
“Throughout the hour, I’ll also have open dialogues with a wide array of guests and callers to talk through the challenges facing Americans from varying perspectives and backgrounds,” she added.
In a separate press release, SiriusXM announced Nikki Haley Live will run until the presidential inauguration in January, which could free her up for a Cabinet position should former President Donald Trump win a second term. Haley previously landed a private sector job in September as vice chairwoman of the global communications firm Edelman.
News of Haley’s show follows Ramaswamy’s announcement one day earlier that the former biotechnology entrepreneur will host a limited-series roundtable TV program called Truths with Vivek Ramaswamy, which will debut on Fox Nation on Sunday. A shorter version will be broadcast on Fox News at 10 p.m. the same day.
The pair, once opponents, are trying to find their feet in the Republican Party after their campaigns. Both have endorsed Trump, but Ramaswamy, who was less critical of the former president than Haley, has been making more appearances on his behalf on the campaign trail.
