The latest poll from Emerson College of 1,000 likely voters, released Tuesday, found that 48% of voters support Trump and 48% support Harris for president in the all-important swing state.

Half of voters expect Harris to win, while 49% expect Trump to win. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. The numbers reflect a small shift from earlier in the month, when Trump was up 48% to Harris’s 47%.

The poll, conducted between Friday and Saturday, found that 51% of voters think Trump is a better candidate for their financial situation, while 44% answered that Harris would be better.

The economy appears to be a top motivator for voters. Three-fifths of voters feel their economic situation is worse today than it was five years ago, while 22% feel it is better, and 18% say it is no different.

Half of the respondents trust Trump more to handle fracking, while 39% trust Harris more. Eleven percent trust neither candidate.

The polling also showed a closer Senate race — Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) received 47% support, while Republican challenger Dave McCormick received 45%, and 8% of respondents said they were undecided.

“Casey leads among voters under 50, 53% to 37%, while McCormick leads the 50 and over vote: 51% to 43%,” said Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling. “Women break for Casey by 11 points, 52% to 41%, while men break for McCormick by eight points, 50% to 42%.”

The survey was completed through text messages and an online panel of voters.
