Trump tells Glenn Beck a ‘committee’ is running the country, not Biden-Harris

Former President Donald Trump said that “a committee of people” are performing the job of president as President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are not the ones in charge.

The Republican candidate made his claim with three weeks left before the election, with Harris running as his opponent after Biden dropped his reelection bid in July. Trump argued the government of the United States has “nasty” and “fascist” leadership, and he was then asked who was really in charge.

“Well, I think it’s a committee of people, and they might not even know who the committee is,” Trump said on Glenn Beck’s show on The Blaze. “They may not even know themselves — does that make sense? It’s a group of people that are in different levels of D.C., and they surround a man that was not the most capable person. By the way, never was, but certainly not anymore. And she’s worse than he is. She’s worse than he is.”

Trump also warned about the danger Harris would put freedom of religion in if she were to become president, saying being opposed to religion is “in her bones.”

The former president suggested Biden experienced “an overthrow” from office after he dropped his reelection bid, claiming that he is now angry at Harris. He also indicated that the Democrats are trying to “steer a different path” when asked why Democrats like former President Bill Clinton were making damaging statements against the vice president.

Polling data released on Sunday indicated that Trump and Harris are in a dead heat at 48% against a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points. Beck suggested that there could be “a hidden Trump vote” among Democratic voters who would break away from their party come Election Day.

With only three weeks left before the 2024 presidential election, both Harris and Trump are spending the final days on the campaign trail doing rallies and interviews, with Trump doing a town hall with a women’s-only audience airing on Wednesday. On the same day, Harris will partake in her first Fox News interview on Wednesday evening, which will be conducted by network anchor Bret Baier.
