“If he loses, do you guys honestly think this time he’ll take it like a man and just concede and move on?” the former White House staffer said on Wednesday’s The View show. “He’s going to try to steal the election, and the Biden administration needs to be ready to secure the Capitol and state capitols.”

Co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Whoopi Goldberg agreed. Goldberg noted that Trump will “try to start some poo” if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the 2024 election.

“I’m very worried about the fact that I do believe that Kamala Harris will win the popular vote and also win the election,” co-host Sunny Hostin also said. “And I think he’ll deny if she wins, and I think we need to be really, really vigilant the weeks after Nov. 5, after the election.”

The View’s discussion came one day after a bombshell report about former Wyoming GOP Rep. Liz Cheney sending “unethical” messages to Jan. 6 witness Cassidy Hutchinson.

On Tuesday, the Committee on House Administration’s subcommittee on oversight revealed private messages between Hutchinson, Cheney, and Farah Griffin on the encrypted Signal app that raised questions about Cheney communicating about the Jan. 6 incident with a witness without the representing lawyer.

“So I reached out to Liz. She agreed to keep our convo totally confidential. She said she admires you, and could tell that you wanted to the right thing from your testimony,” Griffin wrote in an April 2022 Signal message to Hutchinson.

Another message showed Hutchinson reaching out to then-Rep. Cheney, vice chairwoman of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, and the congresswoman agreeing to a private conversation.

“Hi, this is Cassidy Hutchinson. I’m sorry for reaching out this way, but I was hoping to have a private conversation with you (soon), if you are willing,” Hutchinson wrote to Cheney.

“I would be happy to. Let me know what time works for you,” Cheney replied.

Regarding the exchanged messages, the Committee on House Administration’s subcommittee on oversight wrote on Tuesday on X, “In the months leading up to Hutchinson’s explosive testimony, Cheney secretly communicated with Hutchinson directly, and indirectly through Alyssa Farah Griffin—despite Cheney knowing doing so was unethical.”

In Hutchinson’s memoir, she gave Cheney credit for helping her acquire new lawyers after firing one.

Farah Griffin previously shared on CNN that she helped Hutchinson get in touch with Cheney and get a new lawyer.

“Cheney, as an attorney herself, knew that talking to Hutchinson without her attorney present would be unethical,” the House Oversight subcommittee added.
