The Washington Examiner’s Restoring America editor, Kaylee McGhee White, counted the ways Vice President Kamala Harris‘s celebrity campaign volunteers have done more harm than good as she tries to win over voters.

Harris has a long list of celebrities stumping for her across the country in the final five days before Election Day. Among them is former President Bill Clinton, who has made several gaffes while on the campaign trail on Harris’s behalf.

While in Georgia, Clinton told reporters that if immigrants were properly screened, innocent people such as Laken Riley wouldn’t have been killed. Then, in Michigan on Wednesday, he said, “I don’t think it’s right to say that people have to vote for Donald Trump because the economy was better then.”

“I can’t figure out who is a better Trump campaign surrogate at this point, Bill Clinton or Joe Biden. It’s honestly a tough decision,” McGhee White said Thursday on Fox News’s Outnumbered. “Bill Clinton makes this gaffe, but it is an admission of truth. Really what it shows is how out of touch the Democratic Party and its agenda is.”

Another celebrity campaign surrogate is former Dallas Mavericks minority owner and long-time Shark Tank star Mark Cuban. In his attempts to persuade the audience of ABC’s The View to Harris’s side, Cuban attacked her opponent, former President Donald Trump.

“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women, ever. It’s just that simple. They are intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them,” Cuban said.

“I’m starting to pick up on a pattern here — that when they’re backed into a corner. They lash out, and the first thing that comes out of their lips is an insult to the people who they think they can’t control,” McGhee White said. “As a young woman, this was extremely offensive.”

These comments come on the heels of President Joe Biden’s criticism of Trump supporters, which he made after Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally. During the rally, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made a poorly received joke at the expense of Puerto Rico, referring to it as a “floating island of garbage.” The president appeared in a virtual rally on Harris’s behalf, during which he said, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

Meanwhile, Trump has responded to these attacks with humor, riding Wednesday night in the front seat of a garbage truck with his campaign logo on the side, ahead of his rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
