British television personality Piers Morgan mocked a trigger warning on the new film Wicked that suggested that there was green skin discrimination in the movie.

The host of Piers Morgan Uncensored reacted to the British Board of Film Classification, claiming that the film had “potential discrimination against green-skinned women,” referencing the character Elphaba. The warning also suggested there was “persecution of talking animals.”

“Hilariously, the British Board of Film Classification has issued a trigger warning on Wicked because of potential discrimination against green-skinned women and persecution of talking animals,” Morgan read to his television panel of guests. “The warning issued on their website states that a green-skinned woman is mocked, bullied, and humiliated because of her skin color.”

“A green-skinned woman!” Morgan shouted in outrage as he turned to his guests. “There is no such thing as a green-skinned woman in the real world! Even Ernest [Owens] knows there are no green-skinned women.”

“No, I agree,” his guest Ernest Owens responded. “There’s no green-skilled women.”

“Thank you!” Morgan responded, repeating, “Just for clarification, there are no green-skinned women in the world.”

British journalist Esther Krakue told Morgan that she thought the film board had “to be doing this as a P.R. stunt” to get attention.

Fox News Channel’s The Five also mocked the movie’s criticism on Monday.

“It’s hard to believe that the U.K. used to rule the world. What has happened?” co-host Dana Perino scoffed.

Wicked became the highest-grossing movie based on a Broadway musical, making $263 million.

Ariana Grande, playing Glinda, and her co-star Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba in the movie, have been on a film promotion tour that has inspired numerous viral videos of peculiar moments.

Grande and Erivo recently talked about the sexuality of their characters and speculated that they are “maybe a little in the closet.

During another interview, the co-stars grew emotional about a scene in the movie, and Grande grabbed Erivo’s long green fingernail and held onto it, which turned into a viral moment.
