President Joe Biden is delivering remarks at a Tribal Nations Summit at the Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C., at 3:45 pm EST.
According to the summit’s website, the annual meeting between the federal government and Native Americans “reflects the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to strengthening Nation-to-Nation relationships.” The summit aims to bring “direct government-to-government dialogue” with all involved in the U.S. government and tribal nations.
Vice President Kamala Harris spoke at the summit earlier on Monday.
