Christians Against Trump Should Examine Their Hearts After Wins

The article discusses the implications of President Donald Trump’s second term, specifically focusing on the criticism‌ directed at Christian Trump ‌supporters by ⁢those who oppose him, referred to⁣ as “Never Trumpers.” The author argues that these critics, who supported Joe Biden—viewed‍ as anti-Christian—have‌ failed to consider the positive outcomes of Trump’s presidency, notably regarding policies aligned with⁤ Biblical ⁢values.

Since his inauguration, Trump has been noted for several actions aimed at protecting life, promoting parental rights in‌ education, and restoring stricter border policies. The piece defends Trump’s executive orders as necessary steps toward aligning ⁢the nation’s policies with Christian principles, contrasting them with the perceived moral failings of Biden and his management.

Furthermore, the author ⁤emphasizes that Christians should support leaders who promote policies consistent with their ⁢faith,‌ highlighting a disconnect between the critical voices of certain Christians ‌and the broader outcomes of Trump’s governance that purportedly benefit people of faith. Ultimately, the article asserts that the‌ first week of Trump’s second⁤ term has brought positive changes, calling for Christians to recognize and support these developments.

Only 10 days into President Donald Trump’s second term it’s abundantly clear that Christians who opposed his presence in the White House and condemned their brethren for supporting it have some repenting to do.

Never Trumpers spent the last decade weaponizing their faith to demonize Christian Trump supporters. By the time the 2024 election rolled around, they had proudly endorsed the radical, openly anti-Christian Joe Biden stand-in for president. According to them, mean tweets and a bad spray tan were far worse than a regime that made a point out of throwing praying grandmas in prison.

Concerns about Trump’s personal conduct 10 years into his entrance to American politics are simply not a legitimate reason to oppose his presidency — especially when juxtaposed with the Biblical wins his presidential actions have brought. Pretending that his penchant for off-the-cuff commentary and history of failed marriages are disqualifying was always a bad argument because most politicians, especially the Biden and Harris families, are the complete opposite of upstanding, moral folks.

Thankfully for the country, Christian and secular voters alike didn’t buy the propaganda. And because Trump won in November, current people of faith and future followers of Christ are better off. Look at his first week back in the White House for proof.

The Republican kicked off his second administration by freeing political prisoners, including the faithful pro-lifers who were thrown in prison for peacefully worshipping and praying at abortion facilities. He followed that with a sweeping executive order condemning and defunding the forced mutilation and sterilization of children.

This week, he’s expected to sign another order that emboldens parents frustrated with the evil plaguing the taxpayer-funded education system to choose better schooling for their children. Trump even restored and enforced U.S. border policies, without which we saw countless victims of crimes committed by violent border crossers.

Contrary to the corporate media and Democrat smears dominating front pages, Trump prioritized the least of these in the best ways possible. Valuing the sanctity of life beginning at conception, embracing the gift of being created man or woman in God’s image with no cosmetic modification necessary, training children in the way they should go, and seeking justice for those robbed of livelihoods and life are not simply guidance for professing Christians. They are mandates that detail the best way to reap the benefits of God’s design.

Trump’s recent slew of executive orders don’t simply pave the way for Christians to live out their obedience to God without the retribution that the Biden administration guaranteed. They also open the door for the redemption of some of the most corrupt and sinful policies this nation has ever endured. Every Christian should want that and consequently vote for it.

Yet, there are still naysayers promulgating the idea that Trump’s execution of policies that align with the Word of God are wrong and should be scrutinized as such. It’s important to note that these voices were exceptionally quiet when the Biden administration perverted justice beyond belief. They even turned a blind eye when Harris not only committed to carrying out that mission but centered her campaign on one of the great injustices of all time — the mass murder of the unborn.

Christ-followers are indeed called to be faithful regardless of who is president. But Christians who donate to, promote, and vote for candidates who proudly assault the kingdom of God are undoubtedly complicit in that attack.

It’s no mistake that Jesus’ declaration that only those who do the will of God enter the kingdom of Heaven was preceded by a warning against false prophets who come to believers disguised in sheep’s clothing. The state of the fruit is how one recognizes the condition of the tree, and the fruit this first week has proved to be exceptionally good and sweet.
